We have many happy memories of our recent visit to Spain, and unquestionably among the best was the day we spent with Jordi, the owner of Joyous Tours — and Salvador Dali!  We thoroughly enjoyed the exhilarating art work of Dali and being able to not only learn so much more about him and his wife and muse, Gala, but to also see his museum in Figueres and the house he shared with Gala in beautiful Portlligat.  Jordi is an excellent and knowledgeable guide and a most delightful fellow to spend a day with. We recommend him most highly!

Jordi is an absolute legend, no words can truly portray his epicness, the kindness, patience and Intelligence were beyond. I will cherish the day spent and the places we visited for lifetimes. Jordi was the best! Very knowledgeable, very professional, very friendly! We learned a lot of things about Dali we didn’t know before. But the best part about it is how we felt after parting ways with Jordi, very personable. We truly felt we have know him and been friends with him for a long time!

From the moment our tour guide met us at our hotel until the time we were dropped off, our guide Jordi immersed us into the world of Salvador Dali with his knowledge. From skipping the line at the museum, the tour of the Dali's house was so worth it. The restaurant recommendation Jordi gave us was wonderful. This tour is long in hours but Jordi kept us so interested in Dali that the day flew by.

Such a great experience we had with our tour guide, Jordi, from the moment he met us at our hotel until we were returned. This tour is long in hours but it seemed to have flown by. We learned a lot about Dali, his life and his art. Given great recommendations on where to have lunch. There was no waiting to enter the museum or Dali's house so we never felt rushed to see all that we wanted to see. Such a wonderful tour and guide.

Jordi was a wonderful guide! He was extremely knowledgeable about both Dali's history and background, as well as the region itself. He was also flexible with us on our drive to the museum and squeezed in a quick stop for some snacks and drinks, as we had not had time for breakfast that morning. Having a small group made it very easy for us to communicate and hear all of the information on the tours--no headphones or ear pieces needed. In addition, Jordi speaks fluent English without much of an accent, which also made communication easy. He was also generous enough to give us recommendations and advice for other activities we had planned for the rest of our stay in Barcelona. The pick-up and drop-off at our Airbnb was a big plus! I highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful day immersed in Dali and the region he grew up in. Jordi was very knowledgeable about Dali’s life and works and went into detail gradually on the journey to Figueres and carried on. There were times when I was left to wander the museum and take in by myself, which was welcome, but not before he pointed out things to look for. Lunch in Cadaqués was a welcome break to enjoy the village and scenery before exploring the house in a bay just over the hill. It’s a long day with the drive back but well worth it.

Jordi from Joyous Tours provided a totally immersive experience. His knowledge of the life and times of Salvador Dali is impressive! He used our travel time to the various locations (Figueres museum, Cadaques, and Port Lligat house) to enlighten us, giving us an understanding of the important influences informing Dali's art and public lifestyle, all without being overbearing. Jordi is the best kind of host/guide.
