But what an afternoon we spent with our guide Joao!! Very nice, very fun. Along the way they taught us the traditions of Portugal. On the top of the mountain it was a little cold and he didn't hesitate to lend his jacket to my daughter. Kindness and good mood for 5 hours. Special mention for his effort to speak French for us who do not master English very well. A Norman family.

Absolute zero safety with this company. Tried strapping in for a motorway journey and up steep off road dirt tracks and all seatbelts were completely broken or removed. Complete lack of regard for people’s safety - the whole experience with NO HARNESS OR SEATBELTS DRIVING ON HIGHWAYS AND ALSO UP MOUNTAINS OFF ROAD WITH NO CAGE EITHER - and when you ask for help you get abused by the driver threatening you physically. The stops selling you products in the way are the safari tour company’s staff - and the rod it’s they sell are clerics the price in resort.

We had an amazing safari tour with George through the Algarve. He is a charismatic and well informed local tour guide who spoke excellent English and he knew the countryside well. George was entertaining and a excellent cameraman! We got to see the Portugese countryside and witnessed the agricultural ventures the local farmers get up to. The alcohol and food tasting was delicious and watching the sunset on top of a mountain was amazing. I would reccomend this adventure for anyone in the local area.

Amazing experience from start to finish, our driver Thiago, was knowledgeable and funny, the sights were amazing and so was the sunset

Marco were crazy but awsome! Cool shortcuts and loved about his love of countryside and herbs. Even if it rained occasionally, was it still so much fun

We were picked up at our hotel. Miguel greeted us with a smile and a handshake. We were a couple. There were 3 other couples already in the jeep. Capacity 8. Climbed into the back of the open top jeep and off we went. Great commentry through the drive. Gave the historical ( Moorish influences)and farming of the area. Olives, almonds, figs, carobs (chocolate substitute) etc. Off road through raveens (hold on tight it gets bumpy) into the interior. Great fun. Stopped to taste the produce in a small holding. Definitely taste the Almond and the Penny Royal liquers( a must buy we did!). Then another short, bumpy drive to a local village for a coffee and cake stop with a another expaniation of the history and buildings of the area. Then a quick sprint to the top of the beautifal hill to watch the sun go down. Perfect timing and a glass of fizz. Then back to hotel drop off Many photos, Bring a fleece as it does get chilly in the hills away from the coast and in the back of a open top jeep.

Me and my boyfriend had the most amazing evening doing this sunset tour. It was so fun and we got to try their homemade wine and jams and then we went to a small village called alto where we had the most amazing pastel de natas. Then we watched the sunset and had a 3 course meal with sangria!! so so so worth the money it’s amazing and the tour guides were amazing especially Tiago with a T. Thanks so much for such a special evening. can’t recommend this excursion enough.
