We had the driver Rui. He was on time and always in a good mood.

Spent an excellent afternoon being driven around beautiful countryside by our knowledgeable and entertaining driver, Rui. The bumpy and steep roads and tracks are not for the faint hearted but so worth it to see such lovely places. Stops included the castle, a farm for liqueur tasting and swimming in the river, a waterfall (more swimming if you wanted) but 174 steps down to get there (and back up again!), two cafes breaks, and a fabulous mountain top view of the area and a go on the swing just as the sun was starting to set - stunning. Was picked up and dropped off from the hotel. Rui knew just where to stop for great photos (and was happy to take photos for you) and provided interesting information about the places we went to. Make sure you take some cash with you - some of the places we stopped didn't take cards so we missed out on an ice cream and a drink and was also unable to tip the driver (who completely deserved it).

An adventure, wonderful, extraordinary landscapes, a guide "João" with wonderful friendliness and humor. And his knowledge of nature, the experience of discovering local products... really a must-do.

The safari tour was a great experience. Our guide John was very knowledgeable and charismatic. He took us around the countryside, little farm, stream, local swimming fountains, waterfall and mountain viewpoint. It was lovely too see a different side to Algarve than what we experienced on the rest of our trip.

We had Rui as our guide, he made the whole experience brilliant, couldn't have asked for a better guide, tour was informative, great fun and just wonderful experience from start to finish - Alphasafaris ! make sure you ask for Rui ... excellent tour guide and great fun !

We had Rui as our guide and he was absolutely brilliant! We went on the tour as a mother and daughter trip, and Rui made the experience even more special. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and funny, and he was also a fantastic photographer! He really knew all the best photo opportunities and took us to some absolutely breathtaking spots. We got some amazing photos and memories that we’ll treasure from our trip. The tour itself was well worth the money and, if anything, could easily have cost more for everything we got to see and the places Rui took us. The farm was brilliant, and we especially loved the honey and the orangecello, which was absolutely delicious! We had such a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

What a fantastic way to spend 4 hours with the family. Marco our guide was absolutely fantastic and made this trip very special. 100% recommend this family trip, when we look back and remember our holiday in the Algarve, this trip will be the first thing we think about!

My son and I had a great afternoon out with our guide Marco. As well as being an excellent driver, he was very knowledgeable about the plants and wildlife on our route. There were 2 stops for wild swimming plus a waterfall view, village cafe, local honey and a mountain-top with swing to finish the trip in style.

Absolutely brilliant. We had Rui as our guide. Pick up and drop off right outside the hotel. The experience length was perfect for us with our 7 year old son. We was with other great family so there wasn’t too many of us. Rui showed us great places to swim and some amazing places. We loved the message 😂. Would definitely recommend to anyone we is mobile.
