We all loved the tour of this fabulous castle (including my 6-year-old daughter). It is well preserved and its history is interesting. The gardens are simply sumptuous. However, you have to expect a crowd, there are really a lot of people!

The visit to the Generalife gardens and the Nasrid palaces is absolutely worth it: an immersion in Arab architecture that fascinates. It is important to buy tickets in advance. An afternoon/evening visit is recommended so as not to suffer too much from the heat (41 degrees)! Accessible from the center of Granada by the c32 bus for 1.60€ each. If you are in Granada, it is absolutely a must!

We had booked a week in advance, it cost us 76€ for 5 people with a visit to the palace set for 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, at 11:30 AM we left the rental house to go there, telling ourselves we would take a walk and finish at 2:00 PM with the palace; unfortunately, our car broke down. So, I immediately wrote to them by email to reschedule my tickets or get a refund; I was told that it was impossible, so I dealt with my car issue and then looked for a taxi. Of course, by the time I did all that, I only arrived there at about 2:45 PM because the taxi arrived late; anyway, that is not their fault, but still... Upon arriving in front of the Palace, I explained the situation, which I had already done by email in order to reschedule my palace visit time, but they refused me even on-site, telling me I should have arrived 1 hour before; okay, but a car breakdown cannot unfortunately be foreseen, otherwise we would have done things differently; I am therefore very disappointed, I did not even enjoy the moment, we did not even walk around because we were so disgusted, and the little extra for a site at this price, the toilets were disgusting.... Not a good memory, they have no compassion for a case like ours even though we paid for admission, and I think that what we pay for is mainly the palace because we see the rest of the gardens and ruins everywhere.... Disappointed

Everything worked out great from the beginning! Everyone was on time and the 3-hour tour was breathtaking and very interesting. Our tour guide, Aitana, was very good! She told stories well, made everything vivid, and had some nice anecdotes ready. The tour was very entertaining and not at all strenuous. A must in any case!!! Also thanks to Aitana 🙏🏻

An incredible experience after so many years of waiting.

An incredible site. Despite the number of places visited over all these years of traveling around the world, this is surely one of my most beautiful experiences.

A particular organization, you must be very clear on the meeting time if you have tickets specifying the palace visit. Don't forget your ID card 😜

First of all, you don't know how to get an Ondine ticket for children under 3 years old; upon arrival, you therefore have to wait in line to get one. What is the advantage of the Ondine ticket? The directions for navigating the site are not clear at all, especially when visiting with a person in a wheelchair and a child in a stroller. There is no way to know clearly what the person in the wheelchair can visit; sometimes there are walkways to pass with the chair, but often these walkways are inaccessible. Likewise, several places are inaccessible with a child's stroller (even though they are for the wheelchair, go figure!), you have to leave the stroller in a locker, but they only tell you that when you are in front of the building to visit. You therefore have to walk 200m back to go to the locker. If they gave a clear document at the entrance with the places inaccessible by wheelchair and stroller, it would avoid quite a bit of frustration. Furthermore, at every place you visit, you have to show your entry ticket and your ID document again, even though when booking online, the entry ticket is only obtained if you provide the ID document information. It is normal to verify the match at the site entrance, but once inside the site, the entry ticket should be enough. It is possible to have a wheelchair made available, which is already good, but one should at least be able to use it to go to and from the parking lot. Well no, you can only use it at the entrance. So my daughter had to go down and back up from the parking lot on crutches with a cast on her foot! In short, the poor internal organization at the site did not allow us to discover the Alhambra and enjoy the visit as we would have liked. We will not return.
