Our trip to Lake Bled and Ljubljana was one of the absolute highlights of our European holiday. He shared fascinating stories and local insights throughout the journey, pointed out places we would have otherwise missed, and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. The pace of the tour was perfect—we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to explore and take in the beauty of each destination. One of the nicest parts of the day was stopping for coffee and delicious Croatian desserts together, which gave the tour such a personal and relaxed feel. The included local treats were another lovely touch and a great way to experience a taste of the region. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Croatia or Slovenia. Fantastic sightseeing in the West Balkans with the best guide. Jakov’s depth of knowledge on history, catholicism, geography is ridiculously immense, well done to him !! We learnt so much from him. His humour was out of the world too, some say he’s the Croatian Mr Bean. Great trip, will be back with Jakov.

"The Guide" is owned by a gentleman Jakov and he is just simply superb in guiding these Croatia sight seeing tours. Definitely recommended. You won't regret it.

I reached out to Jakov regarding a daytrip to Bled and Ljubljana from Zagreb and he quoted a fair rate. Prior to the day of the tour, he gave me updates on the travel regulations relevant to the trip. The tour itself is enjoyable and informative and that is mainly because of the energy brought by Jakov. Engaging and dynamic throughout the drive, he pointed various points of interest along the way. His vast knowledge of the history and other trivial information on Croatia and Slovenia is quite impressive. Lake Bled simply took my breath away and Jakov, as I requested, was able to rent a smaller boat instead of riding the pletna to the islet. He did the rowing himself which is by no means, an easy feat. He then guided me through Castle Bled and capped the visit with tea and a slice of the delicious cake. Proceeding to Ljubljana, he led me to explore the quaint city by foot. All throughout the tour, Jakov was always checking on me if I have questions while constantly feeding me with more information. Also of note, is that Jakov is a skilled driver and has a keen interest in genealogy which he puts to good use by helping his tour guests to reconnect with their family members or distant relatives in Croatia. Thank you, Jakov, for a very memorable daytrip to Slovenia.

Marko our guide for our 2-week tour in Slovenia and Croatia is awesome, though he is young (and handsome), he has 5 yrs of experience as a guide, and truly demonstrated deep knowledge of the history and has such good sense of humour. We love his passion, enthusiasm and always going an extra mile in delighting his customers. I will give a 5-star for Marko!

It was expected our trip will be gloomy and rainy weather but that didn't stop us from having a good time and enjoy the trip! Marco was a fun and well knowledge guide.. He was a great story teller and our good body guard . Lake bled and visit to the Bled castle.. An amazing breath taking view..oh.. We enjoy as well our delicious cute local creamy Slovenian cake.. Ljubljana was a cute town.. It was still a bit rain.. So we miss our chance to really enjoy the local food at the local food market cause of the rain.. It was close.. But it's all fine! Over all.. I highly recommend the tour.. Good job Marco.. Hope to see u again and ur team in the future 💪👍👍
