名前は英語で「商取引の広場」を意味し、ポルトガルで最も有名で人気のある会場の 1 つです。テージョ川からは、ドン ホセ 1 世を表す騎馬像と、そのすぐ向こうにあるアウグスタ通りに面した凱旋門を直接見ることができます。 1755 年の地震で破壊された歴史的な王宮の代わりに建てられた豪華なアーケードがすべてを囲んでいます。建物は水に向かって U 字型に開いています。
「ポンテ」と呼ばれるテージョ川に架かる壮観な吊り橋の長さは 2,278 メートルです。これは、自動車に加えて電車が通過できる吊り橋としては世界第3位です。興味深い事実: 列車は、車両の下の独自のレベルで橋を渡ります。さらに、橋はさらに国中に伸びており、全長は驚くべき 3.2 キロメートルに達します。
未来的な建物は 2016 年末にオープンし、世界中の現代アーティストや建築家による展示が特徴です。 3,000 平方メートルの面積をカバーするアート ギャラリーは、討論、新しい発見、批判的な質問のためのスペースも提供します。 水上からでも建築の傑作は印象的です。反射タイルを使用したファサードは、時間帯や日によって異なる光のムードを伝えます。リスボンの典型的なタイルのイメージ、アズレージョを現代的に解釈したものと言えます。
名前は英語で「発見のモニュメント」を意味し、一度見れば名前の由来がすぐにわかります。エンリケ航海王子の没後 500 年にあたる 1960 年に建てられ、全高は 56 メートルあります。彼の像は、ポルトガルを歴史的な海洋大国として重要なものにした多くの発見の航海に資金を提供したため、海に直接面しています。しかし、氷山のように外から見えるのは建物の頂上だけで、内部には約 100 人収容の講堂と展示ホールがあります。
1940 年に建てられた、このルートの次の名所であるベレン灯台は、テージョ川のほとりに 8 メートル上空に伸びています。これにより、発見のモニュメントよりも小さくなり、少し目立たなくなりますが、水面からはリスボンの遊歩道に美しい色のしぶきを形成します.灯台は、ポルトガル建国 800 周年を記念して万国博覧会のために建てられましたが、興味深いことに、灯台として実際に機能することはありませんでした。

End the first day in Lisbon with a boat trip on the Tagus accompanied by excellent musical entertainment, allowing the impressions to sink in. Highly recommended.

We arrived about 10 minutes before the start time, it wasn’t too busy so we were all boarded and set off right on time. Very easy to find too just off Praca do Comercio. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we received our welcome drink (beer/wine/soft drink) and some snacks shortly after heading off. We passed along the sights and the tour could be listened to via a QR code. Overall, a lovely experience with really nice crew. I would 100% recommend booking this.

Beautiful scenery! The best views with an incredible sunset. The DJ was fun and played great music. People were dancing and laughing. The only negative was that the bar was very small… and they took way too long to serve drinks. I wanted a beer ( that was supposed to be included with my ticket price) A female bartender was dancing & talking to guests - she made 3 drinks in 30 minutes! I would suggest limiting drink options to beer and wine. She was way too slow to be working on a boat with 100 thirsty passengers!

Our boat at 6:30 broke and we were told they can put us on another boat at 7:30. Thank God we didnt leave, because that boat left at 7! Their tickets scanner wasn't working so took about 10 minutes for that. There was no commentary of any sites we went by. The ticket stated snacks. Nope. For 3 people that gave us 2 tiny dishes with pistachios. There was no port either. Boring as well.
