Universal does the bare minimum to be ADA compliant. Let me start off saying great park and really love Universal before becoming more reliant on medical devices. My circumstances are different as those that I travel with we all need these and am told we have to transfer to a wheelchair at beginning of rides and dont get started about HHN. But I advise that we cannot push each other and am advised to visit guest services for other accommodations. I then am advised they nolonger offer those services that those that have it are grandfathered in and that I am basically out of luck. The Team Lead at guest services basically advises that the team members telling me shouldn't as someone like me should know that they had those options. And that for me to be able to use a motorized chair he could give me a company I can rent from each time. At this point if you need ADA services avoid Universal as to compare Universal to Disney as being ADA friendly Disney is by far superior. I can name maybe 5 at most rides at all 4 of Disney parks to which they do offer other options as far as back ways and after hours events that i cannot use my scooter. While at Universal I can name maybe 5 and thats a stretch that I can name and no options other than mentioned above. Do better Universal as everyone should be able enjoy the parks without being offered refunds as you cannot accommodate those.

Not Eager to Return
I want to like Universal, but I do not see the value for the money. With the exception of Stardust Racers, the rides at Epic are not impressive. The staff at both Epic and Universal/Islands of Adventure are generally rude and impose random rules everywhere you turn. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Buy tickets in UK
Buy your tickets whilst in Uk it is cheaper. We bought 14 day tickets for all universal and Disney parks, inc water parks and visited all. Universal where more modern but Disney has magic, especially for younger children and nostalgics, Some of the new rides, Hagrids, Gringots, Avatar and the Rollercoasters are fantastic and take ride experiences to a new level and I'm a 72 year old Grandad!

Don't go, worst park experience
Bad experience, do not waste your time in the parks of the universal, queues with more than 3 hours, only those who buy express pass is served, go to the diney to be well served and have a good experience. Universal park Never again

Military Beware
Military Freedom Pass is a rip-off. Universal is taking advantage of Military families by overcharging for tickets and then they call it a freedom pass. If I would have bought tickets online and not thru Military, I would have gotten a better deal. My husband fought for this country's freedom and Universal has the guts to call it a freedom pass. In addition, most employees are so unfriendly and absolutely not accommodating. We bought a 2 park pass only to find out, in the fine print, that it was not a 2 day park. Disney is charging half of ticket value for Military. They know how to honor the sacrifice of our Military.
