Have done several guided walking tours with locals in other cities, and the City Unscripted tour did not disappoint. We booked the 3 hour tour which was definitely enough time to lay the groundwork for Milano. Dani was our guide; she recognized that we had just arrived in Milano that morning and kept the pace somewhat leisurely so that we were not overwhelmed. She accommodated our request to skip Santa Maria delle Grazie and instead took us to the Santuario di San Bernardino alle Ossa. Dani was a wealth of information regarding the history of Milano, the Duomo, and Sforzesco Castle. She reminded us to bring our passports for our visits to see the Last Supper the following day, and thank goodness she did! She also gave us time to stop for a drink/gelato during the tour. Excellent recommendations for aperitivo and places to find reasonably priced fashion and artwork.

Truly wonderful experience walking through Milan and learning about its history, culture and landmarks. Suggest starting in early morning or late afternoon to avoid walking in the summer heat. Dani was so kind, warm and gracious with her time and knowledge.

Massimo was a great communicator and explainer of the history of Milan. Weaving us in and out on this highlights tour allowed us a better understanding of how Milan got from point A to Point B. He also made some great eatery recommendations that we delicous!

Absolutely perfect - Lisa, our host, was clearly passionate about the city she calls home and you could tell how much she loves sharing it with her guests. She was perhaps the most qualified tour guide we’ve had, and had answers to all of our questions. She tailored the tour to our time schedule and gave us an amazing view of Milan’s city center and so much of what it has to offer in the short period of time we had available. Moreover she shared with us valuable insights from where and when to best visit certain popular venues to secrets about how to avoid the most touristy venues and alternatives that are less known for similar experiences. This was a great experience. It was nice to do a tour just one on one and not in a big group. Bibi was amazing. I would definitely recommend.

The itinerary that I signed up and paid for didn’t match with the tour guide Massimo’s itinerary. My itinerary says Milan ( Pass by ) , Naviglio Grande , and the Last Supper ( Pass by) . None of that happened. Massimo said it wasn’t on his itinerary. That his company gave him a different one than viator’s . It was frustrating that we had to go to the other places at our own expense , and the anxiety we had not knowing where to get the Uber ride . Massimo was kind enough to take us around, I thought he had a car. I was really frustrated with this tour , I don’t think I’ll ever recommend this because it’s deceptive. It was not Massimo’s fault. There was no proper coordination between Viator and Unscripted companies .
