A wonderful and very interesting tour! The dreamlike location and the house, which is architecturally beautifully embedded in the surroundings, make the visit something very special. In addition, a warm atmosphere, exciting insights, and a great olive oil tasting. Highly recommended!
An excellent guide of the facilities from looking at the olive trees to understanding the process and history of olive oil production. All in a unique building with a nice lunch on the terrace afterwards with a fab view!
We visited La Almazara one afternoon around lunchtime and had a fantastic experience. The place itself is truly impressive, and Philippe Starck’s extraordinary architecture makes a huge impact from the moment you arrive. The combination of the striking design and the beautiful location surrounded by the Spanish countryside is something very special. You can explore with an audio guide on your phone, although we preferred simply walking around and experiencing the place at our own pace. Afterwards, we enjoyed a glass of wine on the beautifully designed terrace overlooking the valley – a perfect way to end the visit. Definitely worth a visit if you have an afternoon to spare while in Ronda!
Muchas gracias por su reseña. Nos complace que haya podido disfrutar de La Terraza en nuestro restaurante. Saludos cordiales, Equipo Almazara El Toro.
Amazing experience. Beautiful country side near Ronda. A unique experience. Optional lunch was Michelin Star quality.
Muchas gracias por su reseña. Nos complace que su visita haya cumplido sus expectativas. Reciba un cordial saludo, Equipo Almazara El Toro
Very impressive building with a great tour and excellent olive oil
Muchas gracias por su reseña. Nos alegra mucho que haya disfrutado de la visita guiada, del edificio y de nuestro aceite de oliva ecológico virgen extra. Saludos cordiales, La Almazara - El Toro.
What an amazing building and location! You need to lay to enter whether you do the tour or not, but to us it was well worth it, we did the audio guide and found it really interesting, LOVED the building which is like an art installation. Location and views are great. Agree with other reviewers, the girl in the shop was the most helpful staff member.
Dear Jenny V, Thank you very much for your kind words. We are delighted to hear that you found the museum and the olive mill a wonderful experience, and that the audio guide was interesting and engaging. It is specially rewarding to know that our shop team was able to assist you and make your visit even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and hope to welcome you again in the future. warm regards, LA ALMAZARA.
We loved the Almazara and the experience thanks especially to our guide Simon, very interesting all the explanation of the collection and elaboration process and the building is amazing!
Dear Eva M, Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the visit, and specially that Simón made such a positive impression. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope to welcome you again in the future. Warm regards, LA ALMAZARA.
Highly recommended to visit this Almazara, which is a good combination between factory and museum. Nuria, our guide, conveyed her passion for olive oil and its organic production. He kindly answered all our questions and shared his great knowledge of this industry.
Dear Nico, Thank you very much for your kind words. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit and that Nuria, our guide, stood out during your experience. We hope to welcome you again in the future. Warm regards, LA ALMAZARA.
This is an excellent tour. Simon, our guide, was brilliant. He was so informative and interesting and had a great sense of humour. He made the tour very enjoyable. The tasting at the end was also good.
Dear Explore, We´re delighted you had a wonderful experience and enjoyed the tasting. We´re especially pleased to hear that Simón´s humor and guidance made it even more memorable. Warm regards, LA ALMAZARA.
DO NOT BOTHER, tour guide was very nice, but very rushed, half is Spanish for 2 people, 25 english speaking people on the tour, it was ridiculous to waste so much time with 2 Spanish speaking people, this is all known when people sign up for the tour. We were supposed to get a tour of the orchard where the olive trees and fields were, that did not happen. There was a BMW event going on at the same time, the restaurant was closed, even though it was not listed or told to us when we booked, we really wasted most of our day going here and were very disappointed, for 50 Euros we really felt ripped off (badly)
Dear Kleeottorogers, Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We regret that the pace of the visit felt rushed and that the explanation of the olive groves was not as thorough as it should have been. We also apologize for any confusion regarding the restaurant´s opening hours. Your comments are very important to us, and we will address them with our team to improve the experience. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Kind regards, LA ALMAZARA.
