You think this tour is a small thing with not a lot of learning, but it’s a jewel of an excursion where you learn things in Washington you would never know without someone showing you and telling you. The houses are magnificent that you get to see and the stories about the presidents are terrific. Our guide Chris was amazing.

Chris is a friendly, deeply knowledgeable and humorous guide. He is flexible and responsive to our individual interests. He made sure all our questions were answered and that was easy for him, because he has a professor's level knowledge of the presidents' lives. The touring area is beautiful, with plenty of interesting extra bonuses (like gorgeous gardens and interesting activities around the former presidential homes, some of which are now embassies). We came away from the tour hoping to see Chris again, perhaps on the DC stage performing comedy!
