ジャスパーへの旅は、カナディアン ロッキーで最大の氷原である有名なコロンビア大氷原を訪れずして語ることはできません。見渡す限りのそびえ立つ山々、岩、氷、真っ白な雪の驚くべき景色。ディスカバリー センターから専用のアイス エクスプローラーに乗り、凍結した道路を下りてアサバスカ氷河に向かいます。途中で、ドライバーは氷河、地元の生態系への影響、およびこれらの巨大な景色の驚異を急速に変化させる環境変化について解説します。アサバスカ氷河に到着したら、飛び降りて氷河に沿って歩き、水のボトルに純粋で手付かずの雪解け水を入れることさえできます。 ツアーが終了したら、グレーシャー スカイウォークに向かいます。ここでは、崖の端にあるガラス張りの通路に沿って歩きます。立ち止まって素晴らしい景色を鑑賞し、写真を撮った後、ディスカバリー センターに戻ります。

Great glacier day
The facilities were beautiful. Clean and well maintained. The staff was top knotch, especially Aaron our driver. Friendly and knowledgeable.

A great experience
Such a great experience. The specialised “bus” to take you up to the Glacier is awesome and walking on the snow and ice was really special. The bonus surprise was that the tour also includes the SkyWalk glass bridge which was amazing! You don’t have to do it and can stay on the shuttle bus but the views from this location are beautiful.

This is a very professional tour with all drivers and guides very well informed. Your safety is paramount.

Icefiels
Walking on a glacier was pretty cool Glass floor walkway was great. Only recommendation would be hang out at back of pack and let bridge clear of people. Get better views and pics while everyone else waiting on bus You can ride any bus back to visitor center

Not bad, nothing more
Interesting tour for anyone who has never been on or near a glacier. But a considerable crowd and, in the end, you find yourself with a hundred people on a piece of ice...

Amazing and unique, but could be better.
The experience itself is amazing. Being able to walk on the glacier ice is truly special and iconic. We've also done a similar experience in New Zealand but they were 2 very different experiences. Our ice explorer driver was great as well. Offered to take photos and gave lots of information. My only criticisms would be the volume of people is excessive and you can't help but feel it contributes to the glacier melting and the coaches are old and dirty diesel, which given the environmental consciousness surrounding the whole experience they really should be fully electric.

Well worth it
Just phenomenal views. Going to the glacier was very cool. You can only go on a small part for safety, but this is enough to experience the beauty.

Our visit
It was nice, but not quite what I expected. Limited range to explore the glacier. Everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy their job.

Amazing!
Absolutely breathtaking! I was a little nervous stepping out on the glass but so glad I did. The view was spectacular. Totally recommend.
