A truly wonderful tour with our great guide. Jennifer was a fountain of knowledge and so much fun. The tour had a couple nice breaks and “on your own” moments that flowed well. I would definitely recommend!

She clearly knows Balboa Park inside and out, and gave us such rich history on how and why it was created — not just dates and facts, but the story behind it. What really impressed us was that she followed up afterward to answer some questions we thought of later. That level of care is rare. Highly recommend this tour if you're visiting Balboa Park!

If you’re debating doing this tour, think no more and book it! Our guide, Jennifer, was the best! She was very knowledgeable about Balboa Park and its history and was also open to tailoring the tour to what our group was most interested in. The tour was very well paced. Not too fast and not too slow. I felt like I had plenty of time to take pictures of all the beautiful buildings and plants, but I also never felt like we were stuck in one spot forever. Jennifer did a great job of making the history interesting and pointing out things we probably would have missed on our own. As stated in the booking, there’s a cute little coffee stop included with your tour purchase. If you’re not a fan of coffee, don’t worry! The little cafe has smoothies, teas, coffee, and other options, so if you’re on the fence because you’re not a huge coffee fan, don’t let that stop you. Balboa Park is definitely a must-see if you’re visiting San Diego, and I’m really glad we decided to do a tour instead of just walking around on our own. There is so much to see and learn about, and the tour made the whole experience even better. All in all, my mom and I really enjoyed the tour and had an amazing time! We would definitely recommend it!

I went with my husband and 14 year old son. To my surprise my son kept saying how much he was enjoying the tour. Jennifer was our guide and she was wonderful! We learned so much about the founders and how it evolved into a beautiful place. The grandiose buildings and architecture was amazing to see sand learn about. So glad we booked 😁

Jennifer was fantastic. Our mixup on the location meet point. Jennifer's knowledge and enthusiasm for the park was contagious. Great historical tour of the 1915 Panama and 1935 Pacific exhibition sites. Go for an early start time to avoid the heat. Coffee stop was perfect- hot or iced!
