ナポリ海岸ツアー：ナポリ発ポンペイ半日旅行

It was a great tour! Tour guides were prompt and easy to find. Wasn’t expecting to pick up additional guests on the way taking some time.

What a start to this trip we never received an email from Viator letting us know where we needed to meet for this trip We found 10 people with the same problem had no info from Viator. It was only when one lady in the group phone their travel agent in Massachusetts to find out some info that we actually found the Viator rep No apologise On the way to Pompeii the only thing the rep told us that when we get to Pompeii she will take us to the English guide. But the rep & driver just carried on talking like we were even in the bus The English guide Marie was very good and very informative But then when we finished we went back to the meeting point and was told to come back in 40 mins Which we did, we were just put on the bus back to the port just the driver no Viator rep The driver didn't take us back into port just dropped us beside a busy road

Our tour guide was great However, our pickup was pure confusion. We didn’t know if we were in the right place or who to look for. Also, we were dropped off far from the port and had to walk far to get back

Very hot with no opportunity to get water. Long wait to get back to cruise line No clear sign when we got to pick up point. Could not find them so had to go off airplane mode on my phone and call them. That cost me roaming charges.

Erika was everything and more for my first experience in Naples Excursion to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. She was the best history teacher with all the knowledge to give to her tour group. I was so enthralled with every time she spoke it was very vivid. She covered a lot and made my day better. Thanks for very much 😀

Pompeii is a wonderful experience and a must visit if travelling to Pompeii. A lot of time was wasted waiting for others to arrive and could have been managed more efficiently. It would not be a problem if there was somewhere to dir and wait rather than standing in hot western.

Great pick up experience and tour would of been better with less people in the group we had 30 was hard to keep up with the tour guide

Well Europe in the summer is becoming impossible because of the heat. Nonetheless, the tour pick up was late, leading to confusion. Once in Pompeii, there was waiting both before and after the tour totaling more than an hour. While the tour guide was knowledgeable, she seemed not to care about the group baking in 97 degree direct sun, rather than searching for shady areas (which were available but not where she gathered people). Also, there was no guidance before the tour, such as being water and an umbrella for heat. Maybe 30 minutes of interesting info for 3.5 hours of standing in the heat.

We were picked up on time from outside shop and taken to Pompeii. We were told the guide wasn't there yet, so to come back in 20 mins - this was outside of the walls of Pompeii. We went back and he still wasn't there. He arrived shortly after but said he couldn't start the tour until the organisers who had picked us up said we could start. We were overall about an hour waiting in the sun outside of Pompeii with little explanation. Guide was knowledgeable but he seemed irritated by some people repeating questions or not having fully understood - the earpiece we had to listen to wasn't great quality so it was difficult to fully hear. We got lost from the group twice and he didn't notice as there were far too many people on the tour. Getting lost occurred if we were towards the back of the group and we got to a junction and hard to know what way he had turned - others around us were similarly getting confused. I give it 3 as Pompeii was great to see, but the organisation of the tour itself was very much lacking.
