Thought when booking a private transfer we would be getting a nice car ride with an experienced driver but that was not the case. Understandably the roads in Peru are rough but the car we were picked up in made it worse. Our driver was also quickly excelerating and the hard braking for the entire 2 hours making it a tough ride to cusco. Car also had a bright video screen playing music videos and our ride was at night which wasnt safe to have bright light in the car. Communication with company was good but know that you may not be getting a nice comfortable car ride.

The route between Ollantaytambo and Cusco has numerous curves, changes in elevation, speed bumps, and varying traffic conditions, so drivers must constantly adjust their speed. Our drivers know this route very well and always prioritize passenger safety. At the same time, it would not be reasonable to drive the entire journey at 40 km/h.
It is also important to clarify that we provide vehicles according to the category selected at the time of booking. In your case, you selected a basic sedan, not a premium vehicle or luxury transfer service. The vehicle provided corresponded to the category booked.
Regarding the screen inside the vehicle, we appreciate your observation and will take it into consideration for nighttime transfers.
We always do our best to provide a safe and efficient service in accordance with what was booked, and we appreciate that you acknowledged the good communication from our team.

Nice transfer
Driver was nice, the car was clean, and we felt safe with his driving. The transfer wasn't that expensive and the best way to get back to Cusco.

Do Not Use
This company did not communicate with us and left us stranded in Ollantaytambo at the train station. This company should not be allowed to be able to offer their ”services” through Viator or any other app.

Driver No Show.
Driver No Show. Despite having texted Willka Travel Cusco in advance to confirm my train number and arrival time, the operator failed to arrange my pickup. When I arrived, my assigned driver was nowhere to be found.
However, I managed to find another driver from the same operator, Willka who was there to pick up a family of four from California, USA. This driver was helpful enough to call the Cusco office several times on my behalf, but no one resolved the issue. He eventually offered to squeeze my family into the van booked by the American family. I appreciate the American family was kind enough to allow us squeezed into the same van that booked by them.
Since both my family and the American family had paid for a private transfer, this solution was completely unacceptable and unfair to both parties.

Unfortunately, the road to Ollantaytambo is currently undergoing construction work, which caused delays that were beyond our control. While there was a delay in the arrival of the vehicle, our team remained in communication and ultimately arranged transportation for your family.
It is also important to clarify that, despite the temporary coordination issue at the station, your family was ultimately transported in a modern and comfortable vehicle directly to your destination.

Excellent service- 5 stars
Excellent and prompt service! We needed to be picked up at 1am to get to the airport which was a 2hr drive. Our driver came exactly on time and even parked and walked up to our hotel reception to retrieve us. Excellent- will use Viator again for sure 100%

Great driver
Great driver, company and driver were willing to make a last minute change to our pickup plans which was very appreciated. Friday afternoon drive had far more folks on the road, making the trip about 45 minutes longer than our Weds night trip, but the driver handled all well.

Reliable service
Our transfer from Ollantaytambo train station to our hotel in Cusco was pleasant. Driver was waiting with a sign upon exiting the station. Car was modern, clean and the driver was pleasant.
Only thing keeping them from 5 stars is the communication leading up to the transfer. Most of the other companies I have used reach out the day prior. This service did not, adding some stress and confusion. All good in the end but I cannot give a perfect score based on the first communication I got was while on the train 45min before arrival.

Wonderful transfer from...
Wonderful transfer from Ollantaytambo after our train ride. Our driver was waiting for us right on time and made the journey back to Cusco relaxing and enjoyable. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and perfect for the long drive. Great service all around.
