Mixed feelings about this tour. The tour guide was excellent—very knowledgeable and engaging. I especially enjoyed her stories about everyday life in ancient Kamiros and would have loved to spend more time there. Unfortunately, the visit felt rushed, and we had very little time to explore. The traditional Greek lunch in Embona was the highlight of the trip. The food was delicious, and the wine tasting afterward was also very enjoyable. On the downside, most stops felt quite rushed, with little or no free time to look around. Some locations, such as Kritinia Castle, were not particularly impressive, and reaching them requires walking uphill, which may be challenging for less mobile visitors. By the end, the tour felt a bit too focused on places where extra spending was encouraged. Overall, great guide and excellent lunch, but I would have preferred more time at the main sights and a less rushed schedule.

As an experienced traveler who has visited many countries and joined numerous organized tours over the years, I can honestly say that our experience with Kariba Travel was outstanding from beginning to end. We booked two excursions with them during our stay in Rhodes: the Symi & Panormitis excursion and the Guided Ancient Kamiros – Kritinia Castle – Embona – Mount Profitis Ilias – Kallithea Springs tour. Every explanation was engaging, informative, and delivered with warmth, enthusiasm, and respect for the visitors. It was clear that she genuinely loves what she does, and that made a huge difference to our experience. The way Mrs. Elena managed the tour in multiple languages was truly exceptional. Her ability to switch effortlessly between languages while maintaining the same level of enthusiasm, clarity, accuracy, and attention to every guest was remarkable. She is a shining example of what a true tourism professional should be: knowledgeable, organized, patient, approachable, and deeply respectful towards visitors. Her professionalism, passion, and dedication greatly enriched our experience and deserve the highest praise. We would also like to thank our driver, Mr. Giorgos, who was a true professional throughout both excursions. Friendly, courteous, calm, and always helpful, he made us feel safe and comfortable at all times. His professionalism and excellent attitude deserve special recognition. The coach itself was excellent—modern, spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Every aspect of the journey reflected care, professionalism, and attention to detail. What impressed us most was that we never felt like tourists being treated as a source of revenue, but rather as welcomed guests whose experience genuinely mattered. At no point did we feel pressured, rushed, or taken advantage of simply because we were visitors. In an industry where trust is everything, Kariba Travel has earned ours completely. They know how to respect, appreciate, and care for their guests. It is refreshing to find a company that combines professionalism, honesty, excellent organization, and genuine hospitality in such a natural way. What impressed us most was the feeling that we were not simply customers, but welcomed guests. The combination of excellent organization, fascinating destinations, knowledgeable guiding, safe transportation, and genuine hospitality created memories that we will cherish for a long time. Five stars are simply not enough. For us, this was a 10/10 experience. A huge congratulations to the entire team for setting such a high standard. It was unfortunate that the weather was a bit grim, but the tour went ahead anyway. There were some things that we couldn’t see due to this, but guide & driver handled the day very well. Great to see the sights we did & lunchtime taverna visit was amazing. Felt overall like we spent more time on the coach than off today, but feel this was probably due to the rain! Guide super informative & helpful, driver very safe:) Definitely recommend this tour if you don’t have the use of a car on the island.

Informative, enjoyable and unique. An amazing way to see less easily accessible parts of the island. The guide and driver were lovely, knowledgeable and humorous.

This has to be the best tour on the Island.Plases we visit full of history and stunning views .Lots of stops so not stuck on bus for long periods 👍🏼👍🏼

Always charming island with excellent sea. On the recommended tour grade just enough. The two towns (Rhodes and Lindos) almost impassable x a storm tourism and redundant sellers of junk that distort the beauty

Bus ride at 38C without air conditioning, change to bus, 6 hours later very aggressive driver, did not feel like it, were insulted when we were asked in which hotel he should drop us off. Booked the next day drive again, were simply not picked up, had waited 40 min!

Pre-communication was excellent prior to the trip date and we knew exactly where we would be picked up. The trip itinerary was full of and our guide, Helen, extremely knowledgeable. We were given the right amount of time at each stop. We felt we really got a sense of Rhodes history and saw many aspects of the island. We would highly recommend this trip as value for money.

Very good overall. Except Kalithea beach too crowded. Catch tourists. Good organization, though.
