This trip was lovely and well-worth the money! Cheaper than get your guide and everyone we dealt with was super friendly and helpful! Special mention to Stelios who was our driver for the day, he was on time, and amazing. Symi island was a great trip for the day! Thank you for all the help on sorting this trip it was great!! would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to Rhodes.
We had a great trip to Symi which was well organised by the provider. Our reason for giving 4 starts instead of 5 is that the boat crossing (not including docking) there and back was more than an hour as advertised. Symi is definitely worth a visit.
Fantasticly smooth process. Booked the night before so was a little cautious the booking had been picked up. It had, I was sent WhatsApp messages with update and asked to confirm which was very helpful and reassuring. We travelled with return transfers from kolymbia to Symi island for the day. Our trip only included the transfer and boat which is exactly what we wanted. 4 hours of free time to wonder around the island. Everything was so easy.
We are staying at the Aqua Grand Artistic hotel at Lindos, the hotel staff booked us a 4 hour trip on Symi Island that was 4 hours to explore the harbour ect at Symi via Half Price tours who they use sometimes. Travel was arranged which included transfers and ferry. We arranged an 8 am pick up that changed to 7.20 am after booking. Slightly inconvenient but we thought ok no problem. We spent a few hours picking up other travellers from several hotels on the way to the ferry. Then it was time to pay we stopped at a booking office for Half Price tours where a man rushed us to pay hastily gave us tickets saying these are your return tickets scribbled on them with a pen. Basically the ferry arrived in Symi island at 11.45 am on the main hotel booking form it said 3.45 return ferry 4 hours yes! Well apparently not they had quietly changed the return time to 2.30 pm . Which short changed us of 1 hour and 15 minutes of time that we booked originally for. We missed the ferry which in turn we missed the transfer. 180 euros extra to get back left us feeling angry and screwed over. You dont pay for 4 hours then get 2.45 its a piss take. Absolutely avoid these jokers They obviously pulled a fast one utilising a 2.30 return ferry that no one wanted hoping no one would say anything
Normally we would start by thanking for your feedback, but I am afraid that it won't be a case. Yes, the boat that particular day departed earlier, and once we have been informed about it, we immediately got in touch with you and informed you about it as well. The boat departed at 09:00 am, and was in Symi at 10:15 am, NOT 11:45 am as you claim. This can be easily checked and verified on the Marina apps. You (like ALL THE OTHER PASSENGERS) have been informed about the return time, and at what time precisely to be at the harbor for return trip. EVERYONE (and as I say everyone, I mean 50 other people) came back to the boat ON TIME, except YOU. So if your phone time is not correct, or you simply do not respect the rules of the planes and boats, this does not mean that the boat with all the passengers has to wait for you. The time given in Symi was exactly 4 hours as advertised (from 10:15 am until 2:20 pm). If you have difficulties calculating time, or following precise time shown on your return ticket, I am afraid that there is nothing we can do. Secondly you did not try to reach us in any way. Though you had our contact WhatsApp number, that we send you a message a day prior regarding the pickup time. Meanwhile my colleague called you TWICE worrying on how you will get back, and trying to arrange a later transfer back to your hotel just for you. But instead of acknowledging that you simply missed the boat, you started to shout and attack my colleague, who was simply trying to help. While I do understand that mistakes happen, but you have no rights to attack, insult and yell, and then expect us to make extra arrangements just for you, when you are the one who made a mistake. Somehow other people were on time, and had ZERO complaints. I can send screenshots from all the participants for that day being extremely satisfied. Anyways hopefully this will be a lesson for you to have more respect for people around you. Greeks are proud people. They are no slaves, and definitely NOT jokers. So some respect and appreciation goes a long way here. Enjoy your holidays!
Great - as it said high speed boat to Symi - boat clean and airy - well organised. Perfect amount of time to spend on Symi island.

Great trip from booking to being dropped back to our hotel after the trip. Great crew on board, they even gave us fleeces to wear on the way home as it was a bit chilly. Symi was beautiful and quaint with fabulous eateries.
This trip was absolutely phenomenal and I couldn't have wished for anything to be different. The staff were wonderful and so so helpful when navigating us to the dock from their shop. Everything was explained so clearly. The boat trip itself was incredibly smooth and very enjoyable, there is a bar on board the boat and restroom facilities which were very clean. Symi island itself was beautiful, like something out of a fairy tale and my boyfriend and I would love to go again, and when we inevitably do, it will be through George! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
The booking and trip was very easy, and George was great. We wanted to get to Symi and be able to do our own thing, so this worked out perfectly, and the price was reasonable. The boat did take closer to 1hr and 15-20 minutes each way, but it was fine. The boat was clean, there were restrooms, and there was a bar with snacks, drinks, and coffee (and they were normally priced!). Overall a perfectly pleasant trip! We did have a bit of a walk from the office to the harbor where the boat was, but since we left with plenty of time (as we were not being picked up from our hotel) we enjoyed walking around before making it to the boat. If you are planning on walking over, do make note that the office in Rhodos is at a harbor slightly north of where the boat actually is.
It was a great trip. Half price tours did a great job in organising the experience.
