We enjoyed riding bus for full route overview, then got off where we wanted. I had printed voucher w/barcode so we could get on bus anywhere along the route. We could not always hear driver announce the stops, but it was still nice. We followed the live map which was helpful.

Thank you so much for your great review, Gaylene!
We are happy to hear you enjoyed riding our City Sightseeing Bergen Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour for the full route overview first and then hopping off where you wanted. That's the best way to experience it!
Thank you for also mentioning how easy it was with your printed voucher with barcode to hop on anywhere along the route, and that you found the live map helpful to follow.
We apologize that you could not always hear the driver announce the stops, and we have passed your comment to our local team in Bergen to improve the announcements on board.
Thanks again for choosing us and we hope to see you back in Bergen soon! 🙂

Average
You get what you pay for. The narration worked sporadically, and when it did work, it often did not seem to correspond with where we actually were on the route. We were told buses would arrive approximately every 30 minutes, but that was not our experience. At one point, after waiting for a bus, we checked the app and could see three buses sitting together at a central pickup location. That rather defeats the purpose of a hop on, hop off service.
Overall, the service was unreliable and made it difficult to use the bus as intended for sightseeing around Bergen.

Thank you Claire for your review "Average" for City Sightseeing Bergen Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour and for explaining in detail what happened on our bus.
We are sorry to hear that you found our bus service unreliable and that it made it difficult to use it for sightseeing around Bergen as intended.
We understand how frustrating it is to wait when you are told a bus will arrive every 30 minutes and then see on the app that three buses are sitting together at a central pickup point. That is not the hop-on hop-off operation we want to offer.
Thank you for your feedback, it helps us improve our bus service.

Not worth the money
It was really hard to find the drop off and pickup locations. It was also really not worth buying in Bergen. They do a circle around the harbor.
Not worth stopping at the stops. There is nothing there.
We usually book these internationally because it’s nice to get off your feet for a few and listen to the tours.
However this one was a waste of money.

Great quick tour
Great tour. They had people in the harbor area helping with information and it was really nice. The tour itself was good told a lot of history and great information. It’s a pretty short ride 1 hour or so but worth the money.

I think wLking in this town is much easier to see much more
In this small town there are two almost identical Hop on bus companies, we thought we had bought the original one, becacause the logos on the website are almost identical. The bus we bought by mistake was hard to find and not on time

Good overall view of Bergen
There are two companies in Bergen that run Hop on hop off buses. We needed to find the agent but all were friendly. Be sure to download your vouchers ahead of time
