Best way to first view the city!
This is a great way to orient yourself in the city center of Athens! The food was also phenomenal and Orestes made the whole tour a blast. He was personable, knowledgeable and friendly. We so appreciated our time with him and seeing the city with his insight!

Very enjoyed this food tour
We had such a good time! Historical notes and anecdotes, some local snacks then a delicious dinner across two stops, by the end our happy group was chatting and laughing our slightly drunk heads off. Special thanks to our lovely guide encouraging us to let down our hair, it's been a long time since I found myself dancing in the street 🕺💃

Interesting your in Athens
Great experience. Our guide had lots of cultural and historical information to share. Disappointed we missed the market but it was Sunday so I thought that might be the case. Our guide did suggest we go back the next day and told us how to get there.

A great food experience with an awesome giude!
Nikki was excellent - knowledgeable, easy to talk to, willing to make adjustments. We had an excellent time and tried SOOO many different foods! We took our last stop (excellent souvlaki) to go because we were so full!

Poorly organized food tour - do something else.
Poorly organized. Not enough information. Shops not expecting 12 people showing up. Skimpy food portions. Did I mention poor planning? Markets not open. Sorry, Gina. Not a good tour.

We are sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations and, in particular, that you decided to leave after the first few stops and therefore did not experience the full tour. We would like to clarify a few points. The market is not open on Sundays, and we will make sure this is stated more clearly in our tour description so that guests know what to expect. The shops we visit are small, family-owned businesses that are frequented by Athenians for their everyday shopping. They are authentic local establishments rather than businesses designed for tourists. As a result, service can sometimes be a little slower, especially when we arrive with a group, but this is also part of the authentic experience we aim to offer. Throughout the full tour, guests get to try up to 12 different Greek foods, with the tour ending with souvlaki, which can easily be a full meal in itself. The portions at each stop are not intended to be individual full meals, as the experience is designed around tasting a variety of foods at multiple locations. We therefore carefully balance the portions so that guests can continue enjoying the tour without being completely full after the first few stops. We are genuinely sorry that you felt the need to leave early, as you unfortunately missed much of the food and experience included in the tour. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to make the information provided to our guests even clearer.
