Tassos, our guide for the day, is extraordinary; he took the time to tell us the history of the city of Athens and took us on a journey through culinary history in an exceptional conviviality. He took the time to offer us several small gifts to thank us (something we had never seen before) 😍 Moreover, he accompanied us to the Acropolis site, which he was absolutely not obliged to do. We recommend this guide more than ever.

Tassos was fantastic! He did a great job explaining the places, history, and the food. The value was also great, the food portions were much larger than other food tours we have done and we left the tour with bags of fruit, nuts, and olives. Would highly recommend!

This tour was wonderful and unexpected and the best tour we ever had! Visalia was a local who grew up in the city and has great knowledge of the area and all the places to eat. She knows Althean culture and traditions and how the Greeks do everything! Plus the history of the foods we tried, which were all so good! Her enthusiasm for the food and the people was infectious and our questions and conversations led us to other foods and fun off her usual script. We all had a lot of fun!
