Tassos was a fabulous tour guide. We not only learned a lot about the food and had several excellent tastings but learned a lot about Greece. We had the opportunity to buy awesome Kalamata olive oil as well as honey. There were just 6 on our tour. All 6 of us would highly recommend! Make sure and book…you will love it!
Tass was a great guide who was very open and provided a laid back tour experience. We had fun trying all the foods he suggested and was accommodating for dietary preferences. Also, props to the organisers for getting us a last minute guide.

We had the pleasure of having Tassos as our guide for this tour, I could not recommend him as a tour guide more. Knowledgable, very patient and very willing to answer all of our questions. There was a lot more history than expected which I really enjoyed - we learnt a lot. I would not recommend eating before this tour - we were given SO much food it was amazing, we came out of it really feeling like we had tried Greek cuisine and learnt more about Athens. Tassos also went above and beyond and showed us to the Acropolis / helped us to get tickets and waited with until we got in to make sure there were no issues with our tickets. I genuinely could not recommend this as a tour more - it was incredible value for money. Our tour went on for longer than expected (4/5 hours) so one to bear in mind if you’re only in Athens for a few days / in à rush for any reason. Thank you so much to Tassos for a great tour!

I personally think the best way to experience a city is through its food scene — especially when you get to do it with a local. Our guide, Tassos, was truly the crème de la crème: so warm, knowledgeable and passionate about Greece. He didn’t just introduce us to amazing food; he shared stories about Greek history, myths and everyday life that made every stop feel even more special. There were plenty of delicious stops and more than enough food — I left with a very full belly and an even fuller mind. Such a lovely, authentic experience. Highly recommend!

Tassos, our tour guide, was beyond amazing. I highly recommend this food tour to everyone and you must go with Tassos. He is full of information and stories. The places that he took us were so special. The walking tour was supposed to be 3 to 4 hours but we ended up doing the tour for a little over 5 hours. I learnt so much about Greece. Lots of food on this tour that covers everything from breakfast to lunch. You will probably leave full with leftovers. This tour was like having a friend guide you through the good spots in Athens and than pick/buy all the food for you. You don’t have to think about much. Just follow the leader and learn about the food and culture. Great tour!
