Frida Kahlo Museum Tour

Knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides to two fascinating homes
We began in the Trotsky home with the super knowledgeable Hector as our guide. His enthusiasm and energy were wonderful. We are history enthusiasts. Hector answered all of our questions brilliantly whether directly about Trotsky or something else. Then we visited La Casa Azul with Arturo who was just as enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Two amazing guides who complimented each other and made our visit to these two homes and to CDMX great. The contrast between the two homes is wonderful and on our walk from one to another we stopped at a cafe for a fresh juice. Book this tour and visit these spots with the background that makes them come alive.

Frida Kahlo novices visit the Casa Azul
Romi was great at explaining the history and cultural significance of Frida Kahlo. We purposefully didn’t read up on anything so we could learn about her through the tour. Thanks Romi for a memorable experience

Vivir la historia de Casa Azul.
Had the opportunity to visit Casa Azul for a second time in this amazing City and the privilege to have Leonor for a second time around as my guide. Leonor can make your tour feel like you are walking back in time with amazing details to this beautiful home that once was Fridas studio and home. Gracias Leonor por una tarde llena de historia.

Our guide Omar was absolutely excellent. He was a wealth of information and gave us great insight into what to expect and what to look for in the non-guided areas of the tour. We wouldn’t have had the insight or the information needed to know what artifacts we were looking at. For instance, we had no idea Frida’s ashes were in the frog urn on her dresser. This was a huge bucket list trip for us…and it couldn’t have been better❤️
