Our guide, Beatrice, was incredibly knowledgeable. A beautiful venue with a truly interesting history
This tour provided a lot of great information about both the theater and the evolution of opera in Italy. The guide was excellent!
The tour was good. The tour leader knew lots and lots of details about the history of la scala. Only issue is had was not understanding things clearly due to some static and a difference in accent.
I was hoping to know the “intrahas” of the theater. We were presented with a model . A model has no life. But you can see the showroom in detail . It's beautiful.

The experience was overall pleasant, but it was not quite what I expected. I have attended other opera house guided tours before, and the information provided there was much more focused on the opera itself, the history of the building, and the theatre’s cultural significance. In this tour, a large part of the presentation focused on topics that felt less relevant and unnecessary for visitors. We left the group to walk in the theatre ourselves.
I was at the meeting point and did not find the guide; I practically lost the tour; it also happened to two other girls I met.

Museum tour was good. Visiting the boxes to overlook the auditorium less so. Two people not in our party were in the box & were reluctant to allow us a view. This needed organising better …

Very informative and interesting. The theater is magnificent with lots of history and amazing artifacts of past performers and their performances. If you love opera and ballet, this is a must see!

Beware You book online on the theater's website to ensure you don't have any surprises, and I booked the same morning for a visit at noon. Upon arrival, we were informed that there was a rehearsal, so we could not visit; no refunds, but we can come back tomorrow if we want, except I was taking a flight that same evening.

Guide was totally informative! Easy to learn from....group was a bit too big for the venue....stage access would have added a great dimension!
