Selling this event as a tour of St Peter’s is completely misleading. In the fine print Viator states that on almost all Wednesday’s St Peter’s is closed so you will only do the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. Clearly this is a bait and switch. The guide was great but was fighting an uphill battle with the seven people on the tour since we were all surprised by the St Peter’s closure. (And yes our small group tour limited to six people had seven) sadly this tour was to be the highlight of our Italy trip. I understand that Viator covered their butts in the fine print. This shows that you should not trust them. My advice is to never buy a Wednesday ticket for St Peter’s as you have almost no chance of getting in.

Loved the skip the line. Just always concerned with using the third party. Truly check your WhatsApp.. Don’t go to the meeting invite

No major advantage with this booking. You can just walk in and it’ll take the same amount of time. We didn’t really gain much.
