ボスポラス海峡、またはその歴史的な名前を持つボスポラス海峡は、アジア大陸とヨーロッパ大陸を隔て、マルマラ海と黒海を結ぶ国際海峡です。ボスポラス海峡は一般的に北東から南西の方向に伸びており、イスタンブール市をヨーロッパ側とアナトリア側に分けています。ボスポラス海峡はアジアとヨーロッパを結ぶ玄関口で、長さは30キロメートルです。黒海とマルマラ海を結ぶ地点です。ボスポラス海峡の深さは平均60メートル、最も深いところでは120メートルに達します。その幅は海岸からの距離によって非常に変化し、最も広い部分は 3500 メートルです。ボスポラス海峡では、水面では黒海からマルマラへの流れがあり、水中ではマルマラから黒海への流れがあります。また、水面では時折逆流が発生することもあります。
1348 年にジェノバ人によって建てられたこの 9 階建ての塔は高さ 66.90 メートルで、建設当時は市内で最も高い建物でした。オスマン帝国時代には、この塔は防火監視所や刑務所など、さまざまな目的に使用されてきました。その長い歴史の中で、この塔は多くの出来事を目撃しましたが、最も印象的な出来事は間違いなく 1632 年、ヘザルフェン・アフメト・チェレビが自作の翼でガラタ塔の頂上からボスポラス海峡を越えてユスキュダルまで滑空したときです。 1875 年の嵐の際、塔の円錐形の屋根は破壊され、残りのオスマン帝国時代には修復されませんでした。 1960 年代に円錐形のキャップが復元され、木製の内部がコンクリート構造に置き換えられました。それ以来、塔は一般に公開されています。現在は上層階にレストランとカフェが入っています。イスタンブールのスカイラインで重要な役割を果たしているガラタ塔は、イスタンブールのパノラマビューを楽しむのに最適なスポットです。
乙女の塔 (Kiz Kulesi) は、ボスポラス海峡のスカイラインの特徴です。ユスキュダルの海岸から約 200 メートルの小さな島に建てられたこの塔は、多くの伝説の中心となっています。しかし、最も人気のある伝説はスルタンとその娘に関するものです。神託は、スルタンの娘が18歳の誕生日に蛇に噛まれて死ぬだろうと予言した。スルタンは彼女をこの不幸から守ることを決意し、ボスポラス海峡の真ん中に塔を建てさせ、彼女はそこで秘密裏に生涯を過ごすことになった。ついに彼女の18歳の誕生日に、スルタンは彼女の中にヘビが隠されていることに気づかず、誕生日プレゼントとして果物の入ったバスケットを彼女に持ってきました。かごに手を伸ばすと、お姫様は蛇に噛まれ、神託通りに父親の腕の中で亡くなりました。この伝説にちなんで、この塔は「乙女の塔」という名前が付けられました。
ドルマバフチェ宮殿は、イスタンブールのベシクタシュ、カバタシュからベシクタシュまで伸びるドルマバフチェ通りとボスポラス海峡の間にある 250,000 平方メートルのエリアに位置するオスマン帝国の宮殿です。マルマラ海からボスポラス海峡への入り口の左岸、ユスキュダルとクズグンチュクの向かいに位置します。ドルマバフチェは、古代に船が停泊した入り江であり、スルタン国のお気に入りの住居となり、何世紀にもわたる記憶とボスポラス海峡の透明な輝きを伝えています。

We booked this private Bosphorus yacht tour and were offered an earlier time slot on the same day. However, the new time started about 20 minutes late and ended 10 minutes earlier than expected — so the full experience lasted around 50 minutes instead of the original 60. That said, the overall experience was still very enjoyable. The yacht was clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, with incredible views along both the European and Asian shores of Istanbul. As a kind gesture, we were offered complimentary fresh fruit, which was beautifully presented and a thoughtful touch that added to the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a scenic and relaxing way to experience the Bosphorus, this tour is a great option. A bit more punctuality and guidance would make it perfect — but we would still recommend it!
This cruise was phenomenal. The staff were excellent. The boat could easily fit 10 people or more. They bring fresh fruit, lemonade, and tea. Make sure you know the sights and history of everything along the strait as the staff will leave you in peace for the journey. Highly recommended!

I booked this private yacht cruise and paid for it. They canceled via text just a few hours before and then didn’t respond when I asked about the refund. What was supposed to be a memorable night was lost because of their lack of communication.
With limited time ( an afternoon in hot August) , we figured this was a nice way to relax and get an overview. Lovely cool breeze on the water. Had a HUGE motor boat to ourselves with a large open covered top deck . A guide was provided … not sure if he worked with the boat or was separate. I did get a few calls about changing our time on the day.. I just said no. Still not sure if that was for the boat or the guide. We were about 5 minutes late to the dock so by time on the boat about 15 minute late… I just assumed they would cut our tour short but the captain actually went longer than an hour. Very grateful for that. Bought two glasses of wine on the boat to go with our small waters. Not cheap . Snacks not really provided on this particular tour. I think particularly if you were a group of 4 or more this tour is excellent value for money having your own space sitting where you want to! Gorgeous boat and very relaxing

This was perfect for my birthday. My husband and I watched the sunset and it was exactly what i wanted. The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable.
