Well run tour, from initial communications and lots of pictures/info on how to navigate parking. Given the number of people waving at us and blowing whistles, this was much appreciated. Robert was our guide and he did a great job sharing info on what we were seeing. He was also very patient with my asks for constant photos. When my daughter spotted a snake, he hyped it up - even got the surly teenager to smile! All in all, a great way to spend the day… followed by a few hours on the beach in the park.

We are so grateful we booked a private tour with Travel and Birding. Sharing this experience with my 13-year-old son made it even more special, and our guide, Roger, was outstanding. If you're visiting the park, I highly recommend hiring a guide. Without one, you're likely to miss the vast majority of the wildlife. We also chose a private tour, and it was absolutely worth it. In larger groups, it can be difficult to hear the guide, there isn't as much opportunity to ask questions, and you don't get the same depth of discussion about the wildlife. Having Roger's full attention made the experience much more personal and educational. Roger's knowledge of the mammals, insects, and birds was exceptional, and he had an incredible ability to spot animals we would have walked right past. Roger clearly loves what he does. He took his time with us, never rushed the experience, and was very accommodating to our pace and interests. He was especially engaging with my son, making the tour both educational and fun. One of the highlights was that Roger took photos and videos of the animals through his spotting scope so we could take those memories home with us. It was such a thoughtful touch and something we really appreciated. We truly couldn't have asked for a better guide. Roger's expertise, enthusiasm, and patience made this one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica!

Robert was an exceptional guide. He picked us up at the Quepos marina, handled the park entrance tickets, and provided an outstanding experience. He is extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the park, and spotted and showed us a very diverse view of the Manuel Antonio ecosystem. After the tour, he drove us back to the marina so we could return to our cruise ship. His tour was the highlight of our entire cruise. Robert was pleasant, professional, and extremely accommodating. He has to be the best guide in Manuel Antonio Park. He will give you the experience of a lifetime!

It is best to go with a guide. We had a guide that carried a scope. He would locate interesting things, focus his scope and let us view. He was patient and answered all our questions.

Manuel Antonio is beautiful! Loved the beach inside the park. We saw some sloths, but not very clearly. They were sleeping high up in the trees. We saw some birds. Our original guide switched and we were assigned to Wilbur. He was knowledgeable but his focus was more on the flora and fauna than the animals.He was very laid back. It was our first day in Costa Rica and we were excited to see the animals. We just weren’t a good fit.

Robert is the best tour guide! He is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about all the plants and animals you see. He goes above and beyond to try to make sure you’re having a good time and seeing as much wildlife as possible. We did a Manual Antonio National Park tour and night tour with him and saw more wildlife in one day than any other city we visited. Whenever we return to Costa Rica, we will reach out again to see if we can do more tours with him. Thank you Robert!

We loved our experience with Robert. He knows the area really well and is very friendly and knowledgeable so with him as our guide we're able to see so much wildlife that we would not have been able to spot on our own. It was nice to have our own private guide, who took the time to explain and make our experience the best. We highly recommend taking this tour you'll not be disappointed.

Great experience! Not only the views were amazing but I learned a lot! The guide was so knowledgeable. He showed us little frogs, spiders and very interesting animals, I would have never seen without him. He sent me the photos of all we seen. I loved it! I highly recommend this company. Muchas Gracias
