Guide Edit was incredible! Very knowledgeable. The only issue was the rive Danube was very low. Would highly recommend

This is the perfect day trip while you are in Budapest! The tour takes you to the three main towns along the Danube Valley: Esztergom, Visegrad, and Szentendre. Susan was our guide and driver for the day and she was the best guide we had on any of our trips while in Europe. She was so knowlegable about each of the locations and as well as Budapest and Hungarian history. She brought along visuals and maps that helped explain and really brought the whole tour together. Lunch in Szentendre was excellent and the wine with the meal were great local choices. If you are looking at doing a day trip to this area we highly recommend this tour and especially recommend Susan for a guide! 5 stars!

We had a wonderful day touring with our guide, Katie. We learned so much about Hungarian history and culture. It was a good mix of seeing different sights (basilica/ castle) and visiting a charming town where we had a great lunch and some time to shop. We highly recommend this tour!

It was a long day but broken up nicely with time driving to places, having lunch with local foods and a river cruise. Our guide, Susan, was excellent. She had so many historical facts that she shared with us. She's a wealth of information!

The promise of this tour is excellent, visiting some of the best places accessible on a daytrip from Budapest. The van was clean and comfortable and our guide was personable and a good driver. Sadly, the information we were given at the various sites was a bit lacking in context and was more ‘fun facts’ than history based. Even though we decided not to go all the way to Esztergom, we felt rushed through the parts we actually did. The medieval Castle in Visegrád is interesting and beautiful, and the town of Szentendre very picturesque. Lunch was at best average food. The extra of visiting the restaurants 250 years old wine cellar was a definite bonus!

It was a wonderful full day visiting religious, historical and artistic sites. Beautiful Cathedral, historical fortress and quaint artistic town. Nice lunch in local restaurant. The guide was fabulous! Knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this tour.

Extremely satisfying. We found Susan quite informative and she helped us with lots of local information. The lunch was superb and we had a great locally flavoured food. Susan was quite patient and answered all our queries without any hesitation.
