What a fun filled day. 1st we visited the museum, then we walked where I saw beautiful umbrellas, went into the chocolate and Coffee shop, took a photo with a parrot same colors as MY nations flag, went into the square, ate ice cream, went to the Fort. Phew!! What a day

We had a great experience with our Puerto Plata City Tour and with our tour guide Junior Gomez. Pickup and drop off from our resort were super easy and convenient. Junior took great photos of us and gave us very educational information about Puerto Plata. Carlos was energetic, knowledgeable, and friendly! He was also prepared and anticipated our needs. Cold water was automatically given to us throughout the trip. He took photos of us and gave us time to enjoy each stop. The vehicle was comfortable and accommodated 6 people perfectly. We traveled with three adults and three teens.

The city tour is great. We had fun and enjoy the day with our private guide. We toured downtown from the Macorix Rum, chocolate factory, tobacco factory, Central Park. Etc.

Juan Francisco was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the city and explained everything in great detail. He was able to speak English to my family and Spanish to another couple tourists on the trip. It was obvious Juan loved his city and was well known. Every stop he was high-fiving and hugging people he knew. He didn’t rush us and answered all our questions. Not once did I feel unsafe or felt like I wasted my money. Our kids loved it too. It was educational but also very memorable. I would recommend to others. It wasn’t sold as a “private” tour, however it was just my family and 2 other passengers so it had a private feel to it.
