Nice day in general. Hotel pickup on time. The visit to Mount Isabel was magnificent. I would have appreciated more historical references: it was basic on the part of our guide. That said, Fabio was very kind. The visit to the amber museum was very informative with the assigned guide (sorry, I forgot his name!!). The rest of the visits were typically touristy. Good value for money overall.

I 100% recommend this tour to learn a little more about the culture and history of Puerto Plata; from the reservation until the day of the trip, Mr. Anthony was in contact with me. The person in charge of our tour was Mr. Fabio, who told us the history of all the places we visited; he was super friendly and has extensive knowledge of the region's culture and history. We visited many places (the Christ on Mount Isabel de Torres, Umbrella Street, Pink Street, the chocolate shop, the amber and larimar factory, San Felipe Fortress, the park center, and the church), and we were also able to interact in different local shops. It was an excellent 10/10 experience.

We did not realize that we had to walk 1 mile from the ship to the tour van.

Great tour, especially the trip to Isabel de Torres and the short walk at the top, as well as the city tour, where you saw the important things briefly, were very impressive. My driver and guide Fabio was able to explain everything perfectly, gave a lot of information, and was able to answer many questions. Thank you very much.

He did an excellent job explaining the history, making sure we were all safe the entire time, taking us to great places to shop, and providing a lot of insight about his city. Wonderful experience. Must visit places. Got a break from the hotel and when out to visit Puerto Plata city. All thr places are well kept. Our driver Fabio was fantastic, knows everything about the city .

We had a good experience and some of the places we had already seen on our earlier.trip.to Puerto Plata. Juan Carlos Santana got us to different places safe and on time. He explained about.the sights during our tip. He is a nice and friendly guide. The only down side is that when we were brought to the different stores we were expected.to buy stuff as to that was not.our intention. We wanted to experience Porto Plata the culture etc and souvenir or jewlery is not.our thing. So maybe next time ask what tourists want to see..

My tour guide was with Juan Carlos. He spoke good English and drove well. He also shared the cultural history and made our experience personable. I enjoyed it all throughout.

First off, this review is about my particular tour, which included my friend and our driver, Fabio.. Fabio was great! He comfortably spoke English, he was attentive to our comfort, he gave us history, and he made our tour personal. The highlights of the tour was going to mount Isabel. The cable car has not been in operation since 2024 and may still be in up for another year. So, we had the truck rideup the mountain. It is not the most comfortable ride because the roads are rough for half of the route you smell the exhaust from the truck and the sound of the engine is loud and continuous. But the truck is open so you have great views and some moving air. However, get into the top was well worth the journey. If you enjoy seeing nature. I won’t speak about the other parts of it because they were nice, but not that significant. Umbrella Street and pink Street were pretty to and take pictures, but they were stops that you could spend five minutes and you were done. The fort is a beautiful area, and a nice spot to view and feel a little bit of history.
