It is well worth visiting Plitvik lakes but in a large coach trip like this one you do feel like you are being herded through the whole thing with little time to take it all in. Due to waiting times for the bus partly round the lake we had very little time to have lunch - like about 15 mins after queueing for toilet and buying the lunch! Would have been better to do via local bus or car hire so you could take your time
We had an excellent experience with Pathfinder tours. Customer service is excellent, they give you all the information needed for the dqy to go smoothly. We took the advice and brought our own food, which was great because there were 11 of us. The guide was just amazing, gave so much information along the way and also at the end of the tour gave us great tips where to go for dinner in Zagreb and on top of that made a plan for us for the next two days in Zagreb and where to take the kids for fun time. The park is unique and one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life. Thank you Pathfinder tours and especially guide Goran, you where exceptional, keeping track of our family of 11 and five kids on top of everything. This is a everlasting memory. See you soon. Hvala
We had a great experience visiting the national park in Zagreb. We had been looking forward to this trip for a long time, and we’re grateful that it finally became a reality. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and we truly appreciated his patience throughout the tour. We understand that with a group tour, time is limited, especially when you would like to stay longer in certain places to fully enjoy the scenery. That was the only minor drawback, but overall, it was a wonderful experience and one that we would highly recommend.

Our tour guide was Sasa, who was very friendly, knowledgeable & talkative. He loves Plitvice Lakes National Park & it showed in his tour. The lakes & waterfalls were beautiful, even though the water levels were low due to a hot summer. I’d love to see them in the spring. We walked about 10km along the paths & boardwalks, plus had a short ferry ride across a lake & a longer boat ride from the upper to the lower lakes.

For those who don't have the means to make their own way to Plitvice lakes, this is a good way to visit. Marin did a great job guiding us throughout the day, and was both entertaining and informative. The lakes are beautiful, and well worth visiting.

The tour was really good, everything was perfect, the bus ran on time, it was air conditioned and clean. We were glad we chose this tour company, excellent value compared to others, and no need to do a small group as it really does not make any difference. It is a very beautiful and relaxing place. Our guide Marin made the excursion pleasant and fun; he knows a lot, he is a phenomenon!!! The waterfalls and the color of the water were impressive, and that is saying something, as we live in the north of Spain where we have that too.

The place is little bit overestimated. Nice nature, but nothing stunning and completely unique that can't be found anywhere else even in Europe. The main waterfall was almost without a water. But turquoise waters of the lowers lakes are beautiful. The guide was so-so

August is typically drier, which can result in significantly lower water levels and less impressive waterfall flows compared to the spring months. For this reason, we would certainly recommend visiting Plitvice Lakes again in **spring**, when the waterfalls are generally at their most impressive thanks to higher water levels and greater flow.
