We had a great experience with Steven, who took us to the Friday Night Street Party in St. Lucia! He was very kind, flexible, and communicative throughout the entire experience. He made everything easy and stress-free, and we really appreciated his hospitality. We highly recommend Steven to anyone visiting St. Lucia!

Great event. The streets are closed to traffic and so are filled with people walking and dancing. It was crowded in the main square where there was a stage and DJ, but easy to get past to explore the surrounding streets. It was mostly food, lots of drinks and a few stalls with small bags, hand made St Lucia souvenirs etc (maybe 4/5). The food was a bit pricey but nice. The atmosphere was very happy, everyone having fun. Back in the main square a drumming band walked through the street and into the square, playing an array of percussion instruments, some of which we'd never seen before, and a very long trumpet type instrument. They were amazing. We couldn't help dancing. They were then joined by 3 colourfully dressed women on stilts dancing to the music. We arrived at 9pm, but after about 10.30pm when the tourist tours had left, the music and dancing got going. The DJ was great, engaging with the crowd. More people were arriving and it was really crowded at times, but you could easily move back to less crowded areas. We left before midnight, but I got the impression that things were only just getting started! Our driver was happy to wait for us until we were ready and then drove us back to Marigot Bay.

If you’re visiting St. Lucia, the Gros Islet Street Party is an absolute must-do! It’s the perfect way to experience authentic Saint Lucian life, with friendly locals, great music, an amazing atmosphere, and plenty to eat and drink throughout the night. A special thanks to our driver, Steven, who really made the evening memorable. He took the time to show us where the best spots were, making sure we got the most out of the street party. He also took us on a detour through Rodney Bay to point out some hidden gems, adding even more to the experience. The whole evening was full of energy, laughter, and genuine island hospitality. Stephan was great, gave us a mini tour before dropping us off. And picked us up promptly when we asked to leave early due to rain.

This was our first time in St. Lucia and we heard about the street party and had to go. Steven was an excellent guide and made sure our night was great! He picked us up right on time, gave us an overview of the area, and told us the best spots to go. They did not disappoint! We had the chicken bbq, rum punch, and danced. I had an issue with my data on our messages got delayed, so we missed our original pick up time, however he found us quickly and we got home safely after a wonderful night. Highly recommend checking this out!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I hired Chic Hospitality for our visit to the Gros Islet Friday Night Street Party in May 2026, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our entire trip to St. Lucia. From the moment Steven arrived at our resort, we knew we were in great hands. He was punctual, professional, and made the pick-up completely seamless. What really set the experience apart was how personable and knowledgeable he was — during the drive to Gros Islet, he pointed out places of interest along the way and shared great recommendations for where to eat and what to try. It felt like getting insider tips from a local friend rather than just a hired driver. The street party itself was incredible — we arrived around 7pm and stayed until 10pm, and the vibe of the crowd was just perfect. The food was absolutely amazing and the garlic sauce on the seafood was so good we're still trying to figure out how to recreate it back home! There were long lines at the best food places, but so worth the wait. We had also planned to hire Steven to take us into Gros Islet for a few hours of shopping the next week, but unfortunately I had a fall and badly injured myself, so we had to cancel. Steven was so understanding and supportive about the whole situation — it really spoke to his character and the level of care he brings to his clients beyond just the job itself. Steven was fun and friendly and his recommendations are spot on! He picked us up and gave us a tour of the street party before dropping us of and arranging a pick up time and place. He’s recommendations for rum punch and jerk chicken were spot on, and Dax bar and Irie bar were particular highlights

"What an absolutely amazing evening! Steven from CHIC was such a fantastic guide and made us feel so welcome right from the start. The pick-up was super smooth, and he really gave us the inside scoop on how to have the best time—plus, there was absolutely no rush to leave, which was great! He stayed in touch the whole time too. Thanks to him, we had the best time ever at the street party! The food at Dexters was incredible, especially that barracuda meal 🐟, and we absolutely loved Dax Bar. The views over the street were awesome and the cocktails were just perfect 🍹. We ended up partying there until late! Honestly, I would 100% recommend booking this experience—it really made our holiday! Everyone, especially the locals, were so warm and friendly. Can't recommend it enough!

The entire street party scene was scary. We drove there in a rental and got to the area around 9:00 pm, but the dark streets and "vibe" made us turn around and swim in the hotel pool instead
