We did a transfer from Sandals to the street party, and overall I’d say it was okay! I definitely think it’s something worth experiencing at least once, but personally, we wouldn’t do it again. Our driver also gave us a helpful tip: if you need to use the bathroom, order a drink from one of the bars first and then ask to use the restroom, because they charge you to use the bathroom. Overall, I think it’s very safe, and I wouldn’t be worried about anything. Just be aware of your surroundings. There are also many people who will come up to you and try to sell you things, so just be aware of that as well. That said, there are some neat things to see in the tents. It was VERY hot, and there isn’t AC anywhere, so definitely be prepared for that. The drinks were average and weren’t as cheap as we expected them to be. The food was okay, but I’ll admit I’m also not someone who loves going out and trying a bunch of new foods, so take that for what it’s worth lol! One thing I personally struggled with was all of the animals roaming around. We would be trying to eat and they would come right up to us. I’m a huge animal lover, so honestly it just made me sad seeing them and made me a little nauseous. Poor babies. There were also a LOT of different smells, and for some reason they were really getting to me that night—maybe I was just having a bad night lol. There are just so many people, food stands, animals, and different things going on all at once that it can be a little overwhelming. I will say, watching the dancing and seeing how the community comes together was really neat! That was probably my favorite part of the experience. We stayed for about two hours, and by then we were definitely ready to head back to the resort. I’m glad we experienced it once, but once was enough for us!

Good night bad driver!
Ensure your driver is attentive. We were left at the street party and the driver didn’t answer our calls or text until 2hrs later after we had to pay a taxi to get back to our resort..

The party was lit!
Fast and safe ride to and from the street party. We were picked up at 7 and met back up with the driver at midnight. We ate great food from 3 different vendors and the party was lit even when we left. There was a live band that performed and came through the crowd like a parade. It was definitely worth coming to if you like to eat, drink, and have a great time. I would go every Friday if I lived there!

Must do excursion.
Nice perfect drop off & pick up location at the street party. Driver was on time & courteous. Street is a must attend while in St. Lucia. Some places are over price so be careful. I will definitely recommend using there $ at the street party.

Overall, it was fun....
Overall, it was fun. Great food and music! It was crowded and hot so dress accordingly. Make sure you eat at Dukes but get there early or you will be in line for a long time.

Friday night fete
It's only a few blocks and the food was just ok. The souvenir vendors were many. The music was loud enough for everyone to hear and enjoy, but the D J didn't play enough Caribbean music. He played country music & 1950s songs. I was somewhat disappointed with this experience because I compared it to that of other islands where the street food, music, and the vibes were exceptional.
