I would like to give a special appreciation to Malkhabbat from Join Me Company for the excellent arrangements throughout our Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan trip. From the beginning, she was very helpful and attentive to our needs, especially because we were travelling with our 2-year-old baby. She made sure the itinerary was suitable for travelling with a young child and that the journey would be as comfortable as possible for our family. She also paid attention to the accommodation and made sure the guest houses we stayed in were comfortable and suitable for us. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, she was always responsive and willing to help. Overall, the arrangements were very well organized, and we really appreciated the effort she put into making our trip smooth and comfortable. Thank you, Malkhabbat, for taking such good care of us and making our Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan trip a memorable experience. Highly recommended! 🇰🇿🇰🇬❤️

Shimbulak was the only part of this tour that was worth it. This is not a city tour. There was no walking city tour or a narrted driving city tour. 2 hours at kok tober was a waste of time for adults. It is a kids playground with rides and kiddie activities. The tour should have the cable car to the top of kok tober enjoy the view for 15mins and give the lunch hour at some other location that has better lunch options. Needed a little more time at the park and less at the green bazar. Overall this tour is not worth the time and money. One can do Shimbulak on their own.

This could have been a good tour if the itinerary and guide were better. The tour starts off with a stop at Medeu, which is supposed to be a sports centre and ice skating rink. It was being renovated when we were there, but there was a panoramic view point that I could hike up to (10 to 15 minute uphill hike plus 850 steps). The same view can also be experienced in Shymbulak during the cable car ride. It was an ok experience if you like uphill hikes to a view point. The second stop was Shymbulak. This was a beautiful spot with some amazing views of the mountains. But it was quite rushed as the cable car ride in itself takes 45 minutes to the top one way. The next stop was an amusement park and in my view a waste of time for a city tour. Finally we got dropped off to see the Panfilov Park, Ascension Cathedral and Green Bazaar. I could have done this tour on my own in a much more economical and efficient way by taking a taxi to Shymbulak and spending as much time as I wanted and finally the Park, Cathedral and Bazaar as the second stop. Finally, what really ruined the experience for me was the guide, Alina. I found her to be extremely rude and unwelcoming. She needs to know that there are tourists who come to see their country from halfway around the world and being that rude can really ruin their experience. She also didn't really provide much information on the places or even Almaty and Kazakhstan in general. I wish I didn't ruin my first Almaty/Kazakhstan experience by joining this tour.

There is no point in including Medeu when it is under renovation. The whole place is getting renovated with trucks plying and dust being raised. It was a waste of time and energy and everyone was unhappy with the plan including medeu. Also the guide was not able to manage properly. Though a very pleasant person.

Shymbulak was the highlight of this trip. Beautiful views at the top and even in the cable car ride. We travelled in July and it was hot! The cable car ride felt long and unbearable because of the weather. Abukhair, our guide was great, and took time to show us around and despite the hot weather, his spirits were high. Medeu ice rink was closed and there was nothing much to do there other than getting a coffee. The green bazar is a good place to get some souvenirs. Koktobe had nice views of the city and the fast coaster is a must do.

Our tour guide Zhanna was fantastic, very friendly and professional. Everything was top-notch organized, and we were very well informed.

It's a nice experience to walk a cross Almaty, from top in snow mountain until down town, what a wonderfull day

Too expensive but I did not enjoy. I should have just done a DIY. You have to message the tour operator's WhatsApp to know where the actual meeting point is. Additionally, the instruction via WhatsApp mentioned that the tour bus would easily recognisable but it wasn't the case at all. I had to ask the driver if he was driving for JoinMe Asia. Most of us were earlier than the tour guide. Overall, the itinerary was also lackluster. No free bottle of water unlike the other tour operators, and no hotel pick-up.

Slow and long but definitely worthwhile the trip. Almaty is spread out and has so much to offer. On this trip, you find out about so many facets of this city. From 3200 metres altitude to the beautiful cathedral. Deniz our guide was fantastic and bright and able to explain it all.
