Fantastic orchestration of the trip. Timely through the entire trip. We opted for vegetarian food and was really tasty food which we didn’t expect to get. Saida our tour guide and the team was very passionate about her profession and was very helpful in providing the required support. Greatly appreciate the conduct of trip.
We combined on the same day the Almaty city tour and the visit to the Shymbulak Ski Station. Even in the summer, that's a very beautiful and pleasant place. On the highest point you have a great view of the place. Our guide from Neomad, Nursultan, was a great company, we had an excellent day with him.
Amazing place with a great view point at 3200M above sea level.. the base station had amazing spots for hot coffee and lunch.

The Tour was well managed and our tour guide Nursultan from NEOmad was super friendly and welcoming. The communication was detailed and through thought the Calls/Whats App chat until we met on the day of our trip. He made sure to reserve ample amount of time is given at each location to explore the beauty of nature as well as guided through the local shopping/photography. Along with that he made sure that we know about the rules and regulations and provided historic, current and amusing information thought out the journey. Also, he is well versed in communicating in English and knows Indian Culture, hence he was able to suggest good restaurants that would meet your taste palette. Overall would rate 5/5 for the great, memorable experience. Would highly recommend if you are planning for private excursion and trust me you won't regret!
and overall, it was a fantastic way to explore some of the most iconic landmarks in the area. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, giving us not only the history behind each place but also some local insights that we would have missed otherwise. The tour covered all the key spots—museums, historical buildings, and scenic viewpoints. One of the best parts of the tour was the personal touch. The guide made an effort to engage with everyone in the group and was very approachable for questions. We also had some free time to wander around on our own, which was a great balance between structured sightseeing and self-exploration.
The tour was an awesome experience. It was a 4-5 hours journey and during the whole entire trip, every part of it was perfectly smooth and well explained. We got to see and take a bunch of amazing views. The tour guide, Nursultan was very nice and informative. We could definitely say that it’s a worth the experience tour to at least try it once in your life!
Get some solid clothing if it’s winter , try to book skiing lessons if Available. He helped us to book it .
What a mesmerising view,Gondola ride from Medeu skating rink to First phase Shymbuluk resort,second part was denied to us as we were above 55 age & it’s open ride,third phase was closed,but first phase is very much lively having lot of pubs,restaurants having great view in backdrop
