We had an amazing experience with Kruger Gateway Safaris on the Sunrise Safari! Our guide Gerri picked us up right on time from our accommodation and was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He explained so many interesting things about the animals and the park throughout the safari.
We were incredibly lucky with the wildlife: we saw lions, a leopard, and even African wild dogs! We now know how endangered and rare they are, which made seeing them even more special.
Our guide really went above and beyond and made every effort to give us the best possible experience. We were travelling as a family with three children, and we all absolutely loved it.
A fantastic morning in Kruger and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended!

Perfect!
We loved the private sunrise safari!
Edward was al great guide. He helped us find beautiful (and special) animals, could tell us a lot about them, and was very friendly.

Fantastic Safari in Kruger

Professional ranger ! Awesome experience
The ranger was super professional (Mr Derrik). The owner was kind and always available during the booking, fofr feedbacks and for any further informations i needed, but again, a big thank to the ranger that was very conscientious.

The best way to experience Kruger
Thanks to Gerrie for an amazing experience. His love for nature is contagious and his knowledge is simply astounding. He made our trip fun and interesting doing his best to show us as much as he could. He was wonderful with our young children - ages 6 and 8, relating to them on their level. We all had such a wonderful time and will definitely recommend him to any future visitors to the Kruger Park. He took beautiful photos of all our sightings and sent them to us that same evening! This was definitely the highlight of our visit.

Sunrise safari
We did a morning safari. Our guide was Derrick. We had a great time. We saw a lot of animals because Derrick made every effort to find the right places. Derrick is a super guide! We are still reminiscing about all the beauty we saw. The communication with the organisation was also very good! This organisation is highly recommended to book your safaris with.

Must Do Game Drive Experience
Absolutely spectacular! Our guide, Harry, picked us up directly from our lodging for an out of this world game drive. He was incredible and so informative. We saw the Big Five and so much more. We have done many game drives before but this one was a notch above. HIGHLY recommend booking with Kruger Gateway Safari and ask for Harry. You won’t regret it. Thank you for the special memories!

Best tour ever!!!
Gerrie was such an excelent guide! We saw 4 of big 5 in such a very short time that I couldn’t believe it! He knows everything about animals including nice stories. We can definitly see that he loves animals and nature! He also was very flexible about changing the time and the place to let us after the kruger park. It was one of the most memorable days of my life and I will never forget. After the tour, he shared the pictures that he took with us. It was wonderful! Thank you very much, Gerrie!

Best guide I’ve ever had
Gerrie was, without a doubt, the best guide I’ve ever had the pleasure of touring with. His incredible knowledge and genuine passion for wildlife made our two tours an unforgettable experience. From expertly spotting animals to sharing fascinating details about their behavior and habitats, Gerrie made every moment of the safari engaging and memorable.
What made the experience even more special were the insightful conversations we had with Gerrie about South African history and life. His understanding of the country’s culture and past added depth to the journey and gave us a greater appreciation for the region.
If you’re planning a safari, I couldn’t recommend Gerrie more highly. He created an experience that we’ll carry with us for a long time to come! :)

Wonderful safari with a terrific guide
This was a superb experience, communicative, punctual, and all round gave me comfort that it was a professional operation prior to the trip. The transport was great and you could see so much more from the high position. And with regards to our guide Gary, he was knowledgeable, responsive, very friendly and a pleasure to spend the day with. We saw the big 5 no doubt due to his skills and deep knowledge and understanding of Kruger
