We were lucky enough with my family to take a guided tour of Cartagena de Indias that exceeded all our expectations. Our guide was simply amazing: passionate, funny, very knowledgeable and with an infectious love for your city. It made us discover not only the history and monuments, but also the most authentic corners and anecdotes that make Cartagena a unique place. Thanks to him, we better understood the culture, architecture, and the special energy of this magical city. It is rating when someone loves what he does, and in this case it was a real pleasure to share that moment with him. Thank you for this rich and human experience! We recommend 100%, without a doubt.

A wonderful experience we lived as a family when we crossed paths on our trip through Carthagena Durand Durand! The level of knowledge you have is amazing! It made the whole experience super playful and entertaining for our children. We take the tour in your vehicle, super comfortable to make the adventure through the streets of Cartagena. Same streets that we also walked through marveling at all its beauty and history. Durand Durand made our day a beautiful memory for a lifetime!

Our guide Duran Duran was very knowledgeable and respected by the shop keepers and vendors in town. He guided us on a private tour and taught us the history of the city and answered all of our questions. We walked over 4 miles, walked along the fort, streets within the wall, stopped at the emerald factory for a tour and coffee, visited squares and cathedrals. We would highly recommend this tour!

Senor Duran is amazing! He’s knowledgeable. He shows up on time. He has great energy. I took a bike and a walking tour of the old city and Getsemani. I enjoyed him as a tour guide so much, I booked him a third day in a row where he took me to a small town in a car outside of the city. He is a hard-working man and don’t be fooled, he will outpace you with his fitness and stamina :) He has a great family. They are a hard-working family. I truly respect this guy so much. I highly recommend him!

Duran was very knowledgeable! He was also fun. It was probably the best tours I’ve ever taken. We has short stops along the way. Everyone in our group was over 70. He was very considerate of us all.

Amazing, Duran Duran was incredible and so fun and helpful. The tour was the perfect length and show some incredible things.

Duran Tours is the best in Cartagena! He was super prompt so friendly and really give us tips to handle the neighborhoods like Getsemani and Central. Much great stories on the history of Columbia. He made me and my gf feel super comfortable, highly recommended:)

durandurantours.com with Gabriel Garcia Marquez was beyond my expectations. He was informative, funny and gave fascinating history facts and fun facts. It was 4 hours and I could have done another four. He does bike tours and cooking classes as well. There were 4 of us and we were all in awe, even the one person who wasn’t too keen on the idea. Book ahead!

Guided by Durán Durán Tours we have made an extraordinary visit to the main historical sites of Cartagena: Fortress of San Felipe de Barajas, Convento de la Popa and a magnificent walk through the walled city, stopping at every important point to receive from our guide a very complete and interesting explanation of the place.
