Nice experience and good service

We booked the camel safari via getyourguidedeze. It was a very nice experience. You are walking with 12 camels in a row on a beautiful walk through the stunning dunes. At the beginning of the route, a photo is taken that you can buy for 5 euros. Nice memory! But during the ride, one of the besieged also took photos of you with your own smartphone. Nice service. In terms of clothing, it is not necessary to wear long pants or closed shoes. You are sitting on a small stool with your feet on a plank and a rope for safety. The rising and falling with the dream intestine is hilarious, not scary at all. We were there at 9:30 and were next at 11:10. But at 10:30 they needed 2 light people and we were allowed to go. The camel safari is at the beginning of the dunes. Since we are staying at the Costa Meloneras resort on the boulevard and by the dunes, we asked AI if we could also walk through the dunes to get there. AI said that was possible, it was a nice walk and lasted much shorter than by road. You had to turn left after the lagoon and then keep going straight. It was indeed a nice walk and a bit shorter. But on the way back, when we came out of the dunes, we were immediately stopped by 2 officers on motorcycles. It was strictly forbidden to walk through the protected nature area. We didn't know that. They registered our IDs and came away with a warning. Luckily, because we could also have received a fine of 150 to 600 euros. And then it was an expensive camel safari. In short, it was a great experience but the journey there is what really matters.

Good experience, nice ride in the dunes, the dromedaries seem to be well cared for. The guides are friendly. My only complaint is that the reservation doesn't have a fixed time, and when you get there you don't have a spot for up to 2 hours later, as happened to us. Very beautiful walk, make sure to arrive first around 8:15 AM to do the first walk because afterwards there's a line and in the heat it's not great.

We booked a Camel ride over another operator but it was sadly cancelled as apparently they overbooked the slots. All fine, so we decided to go directly to the location, and try to book for another day. What an experience, the route is a bit sketchy, but we got there, and as we arrived we talked to the gentleman on the reception and we were treated in a very disrespectful way, that quickly made us lose all the will to give any money to this tour. Sad, as I have read that normally they are very attentive and specially caring with the animals.

We took the ride with my partner and enjoyed it a lot. This was the first time to ride on a camel back and it was amazing. Santiago (our camel) along with the staff delivered an exceptional experience. We also have a photo with him and will never forget this.

It was something my son and I thought we would never do it will was great , they rest them well and treat them good while you are walking with them Worth getting there as soon as it opens at 9am as it soon got busy and I rebooked our tickets as it was cheaper well worth it

Absolutely incredible experience. The camels were lovely and the handlers were really kind, taking photos for you. The camels are really well cared for. Amazing thing to do with the family. I Absolutely loved it!

Fantastic little trip. We got there early so waited only 10 minutes. People moaning about wait times … spend your time taking your pictures with the camels it was fun. We pre booked online and was easy. The camel ride was 30 minutes and it flew past. Well worth the money

I booked directly on site and this is actually 3 € cheaper than with the providers. The camels, which are dromedare, look well maintained and have been given regular breaks. I do it for a total of 30 minutes and attention was paid to the weight of the participants. I was there with two children and it was really great to take care of us, repeatedly going around that the big one, who was 5 years old and sat alone on one side, also felt safe. She was very proud that she could do it on her own. I felt that both the people were courteous and nice, and the animals were treated well. Don’t upset it, but if you don’t want to run in heat, or like in my case has a child with jet lag, really a great alternative. You can't see the heart of the dunes, so a star deduction, but I think that would just be too far from the track. Definitely well invested €15.
