Great crew, clean boat, staff responsive to needs for guests 73-7 years old, English speaking crew member, explained details for a perfect catamaran experience

The experience was great. The boat ride there and back was fun. Enjoyed the snorkeling. Food at the island was average. I would skip the buffet and enjoy food at a local restaurant instead. The beach itself was beautiful but overcrowded. WARNING: if you buy the digital photos, make sure you receive them all. I paid for all my photos and only received 1 digital image. I’ve made multiple attempts at contacting the provider and did not receive an answer. I gave them enough time to respond and send me the photos before disputing the charge.

Our trip to Isla Mujeres aboard the Khaya catamaran exceeded all expectations, and the big difference was, no doubt, the crew. From the moment we boarded to the return, we were treated exceptionally. What impressed us most was the proactivity and the constant attention: at all times, the crew came to us to ask if everything was okay or if we needed something.

We went on the boat Max with Ivette, Dani, Dani and Lenny. It was an amazing experience. So much energy! The snorkeling was super fun and refreshing. Saw lots of fish and the guide Ivette was amazing!! When snorkeling they saw the underwater museum “the blessing”. Highlight of my son’s day!!! Highly recommend

I enjoyed this catamaran! I chose the private adults only one with up to 25 people. Hotel transportation was in a clean airconditioned sprinter van. We were given mini donuts on the way to snorkeling. We snorkeled for about 20-30 minutes. Then it was a short 20 minute ride to the island. We had a delicious lunch of tacos, pasta, and salad. Then we could freely explore the island. This was Spring Break and there were tons of people out there! I got a massage from Nadia on the beach which was a lot cheaper than my hotel ($70 for 60 minutes). The ride back was short... about 30 minutes. So, I only could get 2 drinks in. They offered us mini donuts on the way back. There was no dancing, but they had a variety of music playing the entire time. The crew was fairly nice. My only con is that they had a hug issue with sunblock. They told us not to put on sunblock prior to snorkeling. I'm African American. So, I already had mine on. After snorkeling I tried to reapply my sunblock and they tried to prevent me to because it was the spray. They said I cant spray it directly on my skin because it makes the floor slippery. They told me to spray it in my hand and rub it on. Moving forward, I suggest that they have a mat or a special place where people can spray their sunblock. There are certain groups of people that need sunblock more than others. Nonetheless, I was very pleased with this tour and would book it again.
