Waited over 45 minutes and no one answered the phone
We landed at the Zanzibar Airport at 1030, just under 40 minutes early, our arrival time was scheduled for 1110. I did not notice but our flight number changed but not the arrival time. Due to a new insurance requirement we did not get through customs until just after 1100 and to our dismay the driver was not there. I tried to call the office but no one answered so I sent an email. After approximately 45 minutes the driver finally showed. The company blamed the airline but as mentioned our flight number changed but not the arrival time. Also if they knew of an issue why no email or call?? I was in constant contact with the company before my arrival so they had my contact information.

Overpriced and not reliable
Left me stranded at the airport until I tracked them down. Was harassed by local taxi drivers for 1hr

Reliable airport transport
Reliable pick up and drop off to and from the airport. Could improve by providing direct WhatsApp contact info for the driver. We had an issue contacting the driver who was late to give us a ride to the airport.

The taxi was in time and drove very safe and good.
Th driver also helped me to find correct terminal (which was not obvious).

No show
We had booked transfer in advance. This one never showed up. We didn't get our money back, because according to them our flight was delayed and they hadn't passed it on to them. Our flight wasn't delayed. We had to provide flight no., departure date and departure time when booking. It was a night flight and because of this we landed at 2 in the morning. They claim they were present at the airport the day before. That we would have passed it on like that. It doesn't make sense, because we hadn't left by plane ourselves. The emergency no (whatts app) was also not reachable. We spent 118 euros on transfers. Because they didn't come to get us from the hotel either. So we had to take taxis to get to our hotel and back to the airport. This cost us another 120 euros.

We did come to the Airport, your flight was delayed and our driver waited for more than 5 hours looking for you but wasn't able to get you, and never heard from you.
It looks like you came on the next day flight but you did not inform us of your new flight details.
Us, we always showup on time and never miss anybookings.

Professional
Waited for me at the airport even after my flight got delayed without any extra charges, I loved the car it was brand new and nice and the driver was friendly and experienced he also helped me with my luggage.

Knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating!
Ahmed was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and accommodating. We had a smooth journey from the airport to the hotel and he told us about culture, language, history and stops along the way.
The next day we realized we’d left something in the car and he made sure we got it back prior to our departure. We booked an additional tour of Stone Town on the way back to the airport and he guided us around to the best locations for food and drink and took a few photos for us. He even checked in to make sure we’d gotten back to the US safely. Excellent service!
