We used Zanspice Tours (via Viator) for airport transfers to/from Nungwi beach and they were great. Very nice vans, polite English speaking drivers, water available. We would definitely use again.

Terrible Service, Tour Operator Forgot You
I booked the Zanzibar Airport Private Taxi Shuttle van few months before the trip, I continuously kept receiving reminders about the trip, I even messaged the service provider (Zanspice Tours) 48 hours before arrival giving them my flight details and asking them for the driver contact details, they responded (Everything is Fine).
After I arrived Zanzibar Airport, I waited outside for 30 minutes looking for the driver with my name board with no luck, I eventually searched the booking App and tried to call some phone number but no response. Finally I used WhatsApp to message the tour operator and they responded saying the driver is on his way.
The driver finally arrived 1 hour after the flight landed with sleepy eyes.
Terrible Service, Don’t use this tour operator.

Dear Customer,
We sincerely regret that your arrival experience did not meet the standard we expect from Zanspice Tours. We understand how frustrating it must have been to wait after a long flight, and we take your concerns seriously.
We would, however, like to clarify that we did respond to your message and took action once you contacted us through WhatsApp. We are also reviewing the circumstances surrounding the driver's arrival and communication to understand exactly what happened.
We do not consider a delayed airport pickup acceptable, and we are using your feedback to strengthen our driver coordination and customer communication procedures. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Kind regards,
Zanspice Tours 🌴

Airport pick up
Excellent communication from Viator and taxi company. Driver waited patiently for us to arrive as we had an hour’s delay at the airport. Driver was friendly, pleasant and courteous. Vehicle was clean and road worthy.
