カウイタの国立公園では、「パイレーツオブカリビアン」の映画をまっすぐに切り取ったビーチに沿って、8kmの素晴らしいハイキングを楽しめます。小さなビーチフロントの町、カウイタのケリークリーク駅からツアーを開始し、プンタカウイタの周りをプエルトバルガスビーチに向かって歩きます。見事なビーチや熱帯植物の他に、公園には毛皮で覆われた友人や爬虫類など、たくさんの動物も隠れています。 コスタリカ南部のカリブ海で最も簡単にアクセスできる国立公園として、カウイタは多くの人々の間で人気があります。 2,732エーカーの土地と55,200エーカーの海域で構成され、国内最大のサンゴ礁を保護するために作成されました。 600エーカーのサンゴ礁には、約35種のサンゴ、100種以上の魚や軟体動物、甲殻類、ウミガメが生息しています。公園内には川もいくつかあるので、白い顔のサル、サギ、カイマン、ナマケモノ、ヘビ、トカゲなど、さまざまな野生生物を見ることができます。

This tour was an awesome opportunity to visit Cahuita National Park from San José, since we didn’t have enough time on our trip to stay on the Caribbean coast. It is indeed a long ride there and back, but it is definitely worth it. The kind attention of our guide, Charlton, and our driver, Nelson, along with the wonderful breakfast and the generous lunch, gave us everything we needed to fully enjoy this beautiful Caribbean park. The trail in the park is not long, but we were able to see snakes, white-faced monkeys, blue morphos, and a raccoon. Wonderful!

Loved our tour to Cahuita National Park. The drive was long from San Jose but the beauty along the way was well worth it. Our tour guide was very informative and we learned a lot of information about the country and nature.

This was such an awesome experience! Our tour guide, Arturo was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we got the full experience. We even saw a sloth! My mom and I had a great time and will definitely be coming back!
