We honestly had such a wonderful two weeks travelling around Sri Lanka with Sandun, and he played a huge part in making the experience so special and wholesome for our family. During our clockwise journey from Sigiriya through Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala, Hiriketiya and Hikkaduwa, Sandun continually impressed us with his local knowledge, experience and genuine care for our family. He was so much more than a driver; he helped us experience Sri Lanka in a way we never could have done on our own. Along the way, we frequently stopped to try local fruits and delicacies, discovered hidden gems, learnt so much about Sri Lankan culture and history, and even enjoyed some very patient introductory lessons in Sinhala! These little moments became some of our favourite memories of the trip. What really sets Sandun apart, though, is the personal connection he builds with the people he travels with. By the end of our two weeks, he felt like so much more than our driver. The kids were genuinely heartbroken to say goodbye, which says everything about the bond he built with our family. We reminded them that it was only so difficult because the time we spent with Sandun was so special. If you're planning a trip to Sri Lanka and looking for someone who combines local expertise with genuine warmth, patience and a personal touch, we couldn't recommend Sandun highly enough. His van was always spotless (even after beach days with two kids under 10), the drives were always comfortable, and the conversation was always genuine, entertaining and full of fascinating local insights. We were incredibly lucky to have Sandun from Travelnlanka as our driver during our holiday in Sri Lanka. He was so much more than just a driver and genuinely became an important part of our trip. The whole experience with Travelnlanka was excellent from the beginning. We planned the trip with Lahiru, who owns the business, and he was incredibly supportive, accommodating and easy to deal with. He had great suggestions and was very helpful in shaping the trip before we arrived. Lahiru also runs his own hotel in Negombo, which is well worth asking him about. Negombo is particularly convenient before or after an international flight, and it is a great option to have as part of the overall trip planning. Once we arrived, Sandun took over as our driver and was absolutely fantastic. We were travelling with our children, aged 3½ and 6, and he was brilliant with them. He taught them Sinhala, played cricket with our son, kept them entertained and was endlessly patient. Travelling with young kids can be tiring, but having Sandun around really did feel like having an extra pair of hands. His suggestions were always thoughtful, practical and spot on, and we very quickly came to trust him to help shape our holiday. He was always happy to help us plan our days, suggest places to visit, work out the best way to fit things in, and was always promptly available to take us wherever we wanted to go. More than anything, Sandun was just wonderful company and a real comfort to have around. We felt completely at ease with him. Having someone we trusted looking after the driving and helping with the day-to-day logistics meant that we could properly switch off, relax and concentrate on enjoying Sri Lanka and spending time together as a family. By the end of the trip, Sandun felt much more like a friend than our driver. We could not recommend him, Lahiru or Travelnlanka highly enough, especially for families travelling with children. They made the whole experience easy from the planning stage through to the end of the trip, and we would book with them again without hesitation.

We have received a 5 star service from Kavi and his team during the whole journey. This was our best holiday so far - proper planning, great food, great vibes, good locations (without being overcrowded) and a guide who we can call with any type of inquiry and he is there to help us. We did a 21 day trip in Sri Lanka - including hiking, sea side resort, safaries, train ride, tea plantations, turtle hatcheries and a lot more 😍 It was our best holiday so far - thankful to Kavi for organizing everything 🙏🏼 We will be back in some years 🥂

What an absolutely amazing trip we had! Our group of six had the most wonderful time exploring Sri Lanka, and a huge part of what made our trip so special was Kaveen, our driver. We spent 16 days traveling around Sri Lanka and wished we could have spent much longer. We are travel agents and tour guides who have traveled extensively, so we carefully selected this operator, who never failed to provide assistance and advice from the beginning, even when we weren't ready to make any decisions. Thanks to Sasindu's guidance and attentive assistance, we discovered wonderful places and had unforgettable experiences. He's very young, but he knows his country well and always gave us excellent advice. He was very attentive, drove safely, was meticulous, and punctual. The car was perfect, always clean, very comfortable, and spacious. Sasindu also helped us with shopping and choosing places to visit, as he knew the travel times well. He was always very professional and reliable, discreet, and kind. We will never forget his beautiful smile and friendly nature, his gratitude, and the wonderful gift he gave us at the end of the tour. We recommend everyone choose Travelnanka and their driver Sasindu for an unforgettable trip like ours. TravelNLanka was without doubt the best part of our trip to Sri Lanka. We only contacted them the night before we needed a tour guide, yet Lahiru managed to arrange everything for us at incredibly short notice. Our guide, Peumal, was absolutely incredible. He was so generous, thoughtful and welcoming, and quickly became a dear friend. We came away with so many amazing memories thanks to him, and our time in Sri Lanka simply would not have been the same without him. Lahiru also went above and beyond, even allowing us to use his villa complex on our final evening so that we could relax and freshen up before our flight. It was such a kind gesture and summed up the level of care we received throughout. I genuinely cannot recommend TravelNLanka highly enough. Peumal and Lahiru made our trip truly special, and we cannot thank them both enough for everything they did for us.

We had an amazing holiday in Sri Lanka with our driver/guide Peumal and TravelinLanka. From the start of my communication with Laihru to organise it, meeting Peumal at the airport and expert guiding us through Sri Lanka. He is so knowledgeable and experienced and showed us things I hadn't planned or knew about. He was great with the children and extremely generous. We loved it!! We had a really great ride with Ayesh! 😊 He is a very friendly driver, drives very calmly and confidently, and we felt very comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. What was especially nice is that he shared his knowledge with us and gave us lots of tips.
