ウダワラウェ国立公園半日サファリツアー

The safari with Jagath was an absolute highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka! He has an incredible knowledge of wildlife and birds and seems to spot something behind every bush. His sharp eyes and passion for nature made the whole experience so special. He took his time, shared so much interesting knowledge, and made the safari feel authentic and personal rather than rushed. The ecolodge itself was just as lovely. Dewmi and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming, and as a solo traveller, I felt safe and well taken care of from the very beginning. Everything was perfectly organised in advance, Dewmi was always reachable, and she even helped me arrange my journey by public transport. The homemade lime juice and delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, toast, chickpeas, coconut and tea were the perfect start to the day during the safari. I can wholeheartedly recommend both the ecolodge and the safari. If you’re looking for a genuine experience, a knowledgeable guide and a place where you feel welcome and in the best hands, look no further! 🐘🦜❤️

A very nice two-hour safari through the national park. We saw many elephants, eagles, crocodiles, and other animals. Absolutely impressive and recommended!

We had a five hour tour departing at 1pm. We saw an incredible amount including wild foxes (golden jackals), spotted deer, water buffalo, mongoose, muggar Crocodile, grey langars, Sri Lankan Toque macaque, turtles, monitor lizards & the highlight of the whole trip were the amazing elephants - the baby was only 2/3 weeks old! Dewmi and our driver were very considerate of the animals, we didn't want to get too close and they followed our wishes carefully. We stopped off for a snack which was lovely and Dewmi had a good supply of water. Dewmi was an excellent guide and has excellent English. She gave us excellent information regarding all of the animals and birds, and would double check if she wasn't sure. I would love to come back one day!

We had an amazing time, our driver was always respectful of animals, careful in his way of driving, and always available to share his knowledge of nature. 10/10 experience!

We were welcomed and made comfortable immediately on arrival. Our Tusker safari vehicle was comfortable and MOST IMPORTANTLY driven courteously by our driver for his guests . (We witnessed other vehicles being rocked about with much less care). Our company driver, thankfully was experienced and we learned later he’d been with the company 12 years which speaks volumes - sorry we didn’t get his name . This company Tusker do things right, they provided us with an official guide from the park (one of 25 ranger guides) and our guide was called Sandun, he was excellent and he spoke very good English. On returning from our full morning safari we were then offered a 3 course buffet lunch at a lovely air conditioned, very clean & tidy restaurant called “Water’s Edge” and again, greeted by very welcoming, smiling people. We thought great value for money at a price of 2500 Rs each. All in all a great experience all made possible by a customer caring focused company.

Highly recommended. We saw a lot of amimals. Elefants several times on different places, crocodiles and other animals.

We booked this trip with friends. The price was reasonable, and the service was very good. The manager Dewmi was very nice and helpful. The drive in safari was great, we saw a lot of crocodiles, elephants (also baby ones!), mungos, lizards. But no leopard, unfortunatelly. But anyway, it was very good and I would recommand :)
