ヤーラ国立公園サファリツアー半日＆全日

Yasanka was our tour guide and he was incredible. He turned up in a clean Jeep with water for us. He searched so hard to find a leopard and we got lucky and saw one very close up. Maybe 25m away. We got to see 4 elephants all in different locations and my fav was the one who was 10m away eating a branch. He didn’t make us feel rushed. He took photos and spoke perfect English. I would 100% recommend using Yasanka and his tour as it was such good value and we felt properly looked after.

Participated in the 2 PM to 6 PM slot, the vehicle was a Toyota Hilux pickup modified with 6 positions, the entire trip was off-road and muddy, taking sufficient precautions against sun and dust. Saw all kinds of animals by luck, but didn't see a leopard. In early September, it was very dry, and all the animals—buffalo, crocodile, monkey, elephant, peacock, deer, egret, heron, and pelican—were listless, shriveled, and emaciated. During this season, there might be a better chance to see sunrise scenery other than animals in the morning. This company offers morning and afternoon slots, as well as all-day options. Communication via phone or WhatsApp generally receives timely responses. Because the schedule might not allow for the afternoon visit, communication via WhatsApp to postpone to the next morning was smoothly agreed upon, but no extra charge was given, which I didn't mind as it was a personal matter. The driver was also responsible, stopping in time to photograph animals seen along the way, and except for a ten-minute break in the middle, they were constantly looking for places where animals might appear. Overall, this company is worth recommending.

We attended afternoon section and didn't see leopards. It's hot and dry, animals didn't have energy to move around except some monkeys. It's a nice tour in general, but i think it would have had better chance seeing more animals in the morning.

Genuinely one of my friends and I’d favourite day in Sri Lanka and it was all down to our amazing tour guide and driver Ishan, he made the day so special for our whole group. From an early and punctual start in the morning, to making us feel safe with any animal that we encountered during our time in the park, the whole day was an experience that we’ll never forget. My friends and I agreed that the quality of the tour for the value of money was incredible - we did the full day safari that included breakfast and lunch, water, binoculars, and the park entrance fee. Also at the end if our full day safari Ishan took us to a beautiful secluded spot with a stunning sunset and surprised us all with a birthday cake for one of the girls in my group! So thoughtful, couldn’t recommend this company enough!

Our guide Sumudu was very knowledgeable. We saw everything we were looking for and more. Did the evening and morning safaris...both good, but evening wins as we saw our first leopards and elephants.

Safari Tours Review I truly believe I lucked up and got the best safari guide in the whole entire world! I had the pleasure of having Darshana as my guide, and he was absolutely amazing. Because it was the dry season, it was very difficult to see many animals. There were a lot of safari trucks searching for the leopards and I could see them all heading in one direction. But Darshana decided to take a different route—and lo and behold, we found Jessica! 🐆 And she was pregnant! ❤️ I was able to get some incredible pictures, and Darshana even took some amazing pictures for me. He was determined to find animals for me to see. He did not stop, and he would not give up until we found something! Darshana was extremely knowledgeable. He could listen to the sounds around us and determine where the animals were. His dedication, patience, and knowledge made the entire experience unforgettable. We had very different expectations regarding the safari, end up becoming disappointed because of only handful of animals we got to see... even deers, monkeys.

We recommend the full-day safari, because you just have much more time to spot animals and in the afternoon it is much quieter in the park, after the half-day jeeps have left. We were here in the dry season, which made it harder to see leopards and elephants, but thanks to the persistent effort of our fantastic guide Damith, we still saw a large number of elephants and occasionally a glimpse of a leopard. It was beautiful!

We had a nice driver and a smooth pickup, but overall the afternoon safari was a little disappointing in terms of wildlife sightings. We saw several deer, a crocodile in the lake and some peacocks, and with a lot of luck, a leopard briefly appeared from the bushes. There were around 30 vehicles, as the driver had warned us, but luckily our Jeep was in a good position for the leopard sighting. At the end of the tour, we also saw an elephant. However, our best elephant sighting was actually on the way back, when an elephant and its baby crossed the road just outside the park. Overall, we had expected to see more animals, but the driver was friendly and the organization and pickup were completely hassle-free.

Came to Yala to see leopards and was not disappointed! Srimal was a brilliant guide — he was tracking by listening to birds and knew exactly where to take us. We saw not one but two leopards, the first at a watering hole in full view! Can’t beat that sighting, and pictures don’t do it justice.
