The museum is a must when you visit Florence. It is big so you need to plan what you’d like to see beforehand. Do your research on the best things to see in the museum and note the room numbers where these items are displayed. You follow a set route so you cannot go back if you’ve missed something. Museum is busy, so be prepared. You can take photos but flas and video is not allowed. I spent over 3 hours wondering through all the art works. You don’t need a guide so you can take you time appreciating the art. Fascinating!!!

Unfortunately the down load did not work and was a real ripoff as you would be better to purchase an English head phone than depending on a website diownload that did not work. Shamefull ripoff!!

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi at the Uffizi Gallery is not always reliable and access may require an active internet connection. Be prepared to ask questions if Italian is not your first language. It was not obvious where to go. To meet with the Viator person, she was not clearly identifiable and did not speak English. Luckily, the note of where to meet under the "statue" was perfect. Where to go next did not have the proper signage so we had to ask where to stand once we received our tickets. The museum was beautiful and very much worth it.

My friend and I did the self-guided tour. There were so many beautiful pieces and such a rich history, seeing it all was overwhelming! While this was a great experience, we didn't get to fully enjoy it and learn everything about the artwork was because the link to guide app was broken :( It would've been nice to get the audio headset, but it wasn't offered to us. Not sure if we could have asked for one, but that would have been nice to know while we were there.

DOESN'T WORK. The app never wanted to load on the site or at the hotel. Same for my husband who has another phone. The person in charge on site was unable to help us and the person we called at the helpline didn’t even bother to take my claim. Apparently we are not the only ones reading the previous reviews ...

There is no WiFi in the gallery so I was not able to even use the App to follow the self guided tour, disappointing.

The gallery itself was absolutely amazing, but our exceptionally poor experience of the POP self guided tour, led to a frustrating visit during which the art at times took second place to a frankly crap app! We only got the app code when queuing, and even the lite app took 20+ minutes to load. This meant it hadn’t finished loading when we entered the gallery and as the signal was so poor in there, we spent another 20 minutes trying to stand near doors and windows to finish the downloading. This was extremely frustrating and not a great start to our visit. Why was this code not sent to us earlier to avoid this very basic problem? Throughout our time in the gallery the POP app kept freezing (for me) and stopped working altogether for my husband. This happened over and over again and really diminished our gallery experience and understanding of the art. We gave up in the end and I wish we’d had a guide instead. It really wasn’t worth the money due to this useless app. This was extremely disappointing as myself and my husband have used your apps and tours many times in different countries, but would think twice before signing up again in case we have another frankly useless tour.

This was a really good option for us as we have spent an extensive amount of time touring around Europe. We decided we would make this trip more of an unstructured trip where we did book any tickets or tours in advance. We decided the day before that we wanted to visit the Academy and the Uffizi. This option was perfect for us to be able to be able to buy skip-the-line (which really always is still at least a 10 minute line to get in). It was also nice to have access to an audio guide for both places. The guide isn’t as detailed as you can rent, but it does give a good high level overview of the important works. NOTE: you need to be sure you have at least 5G cell service for the app to work. It started to get a little glitchy at the end when I did have very good service. But a really great option for those who want to see both places last minute and don’t want to do a group tour!

The Uffizi Gallery is amazing. A must see. However the skip the line was not nécessaire. In addition, we did not receive the code to download the content for the « self guided app » in advanced-as advertised. We only got in on site when we were given our tickets. With a poor internet it was impossible to download. In hindsight, I recommand purchasing tickets online directly from Ufizi gallery and renting thé audio guide on site. Of thé many « skip the line » tickets we puchased for our trip , this one was by far the most unnecessary.
