バシリカ・シスタンは、ビザンチン大宮殿と周囲の建物に給水するために設計されました。ベオグラードの森周辺の貯水池から 20 km の水道橋を経由して運ばれた最大 10 万トンの水を貯めることができました。 バシリカ・シスタン (地下貯水槽、エレバタン) は、イスタンブールで最も有名な貯水槽の 1 つです。ビザンチン帝国時代に建設され、その後オスマン帝国では使用されなくなり、長い間忘れ去られていました。その後、発見され修復されました。1988 年から博物館として使用されています。

The tour guide was very helpful. My friend missed the tram, and the guide went with him on the tram.
The guide was very kind and offered us to visit the racetrack as well, it is a place with a lot of history and a wonderful architecture and ambiance. I felt like I was in the 007 movie walking along those walkways. I would have liked the tour to be available in Spanish.
