We booked a couple of trips with Island Jamaica Excursions. First off Marcie who managed the booking was incredible. My son had an ear infection, and we needed to move the booking, not only was she super compassionate about how he was, she moved it with no issues. Richard was our tour guide and I cannot praise him enough. His love and passion for his country shone through and made us love everything he showed us even more. He went above and beyond to make our trips informative and fun. The first trip horse riding and Dunns River Falls was so good with him that we booked a second trip. We used another tour company through our hotel that I had booked a trip with in advance which was awful and nothing compared to the time spent with Richard. I just wish we had used him for everything. Thank you to both Marcie and Richard for your kindness, your knowledge and putting the sparkle into Jamaica.
The ride in the Caribbean Sea was awesome, it’s a shame the guides constantly remind you that “we’re looking after real good, so you can look after us real good too”
The experience would have been great had the tour guides not been constantly asking for tips. When we were finished and I did provide them with a tip I was told ‘this is like nothing’. So rude. I could have kept my hard earned money
We are extremely disappointed to know that your fun experience was spoilt by the tour guides at the activities. These guides are not employed by Island Jamaica Excursions. They are employed by the attractions: Horse Back Riding and Dunns River Falls. As such, we have no control over them. HOWEVER, we will definitely let their management know about this complaint, so that they can put a stop to it and prevent future travelers from having the same unpleasant experience you had. Thanks for you feedback and we hope your next trip to the attractions in Jamaica will be incident free.
We had a great time! Definitely a must do activity when visiting Jamaica! Kevin took really good care of us.
Our transportation was funny! After the tours he took us to a few spots where we can go shopping and eat. The horseback riding was a cool experience but the Dunns river tour was super fun. But the pictures and videos they took at Dunns river was not that good.
