We had the absolute pleasure of having Rosario as our driver throughout Sorrento, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast, and he truly made our trip unforgettable From the moment we met him, Rosario was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He navigated the winding coastal roads with ease, making us feel completely safe and relaxed the entire time. Beyond that, he shared wonderful local insights, hidden gems, and recommendations that made our experience so much richer. His kindness, punctuality, and genuine care for his guests really stood out. Every day felt seamless and enjoyable thanks to him. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and driver for such a beautiful part of Italy. This tour was with a driver that picked us up from our ship at the port. His name was Giuseppe. He drove us from the port through Naples to Positano first and then Sorrento. There was a lot of traffic as this is a very common area. He pointed out excellent Photography spots and gave us plenty of time to tour on our own as well as enjoy a light lunch. This was not a guided tour of the towns. Giuseppe was really mainly a driver. From Sorento he drove us to Pompeii where the company arranged to have a Professional Tour Guide just for Pompeii meet us. Her name was Louisa. She was unbelievable. We had 2 hours in Pompeii, although we could have been there for 2 days and not seen it all. Louisa did an excellent job. This part of the tour was an extra cost - we paid extra for the tour guide and the entrance tickets to Pompeii. Following that tour, Giuseppe picked us up and returned us to our ship. The tour started at 7:30 am and we returned to the ship at 4:30 pm. The ship was leaving at 5:30 pm. It was a full day but well planned. Be prepared with water, good walking shoes and possibly an umbrella for shade in Pompeii. It is hot and this was on June 4th. Just be aware that this tour does not include the cost to enter Pompeii or the cost of a guide at Pompeii. You do not have to have guide at Pompeii but I would highly recommend it. It will be a long day and a lot of walking. We walked approximately 5.5 miles. Enjoy.

When you don’t have the time, this private trip is the way to discover Amalfi, Positano and Pompeii in one day. Our guide and driver was Pasquale Viola. Very pleasant local who knew the area very well. He made suggestions and gave us plenty of time for seeing the area. Would definitely recommend D&D and Pasquale.

Tour driver was not exceptionally knowledgeable or didn’t speak English, even though tour said English speaking. It was difficult to see the priority areas at both Positano and Amalfi due to lack of recommendations. Traffic does take away some of the ample time for each of the stops so be aware

The driver was helpful and informative. He was very engaging as well. He made us feel comfortable. He was timely and we no difficulties. I would highly recommend them.

Based on the recommendation from our VRBO host, we used this company for our transfer to/from Naples and Sorrento and private tours for both Pompeii and Amalfi coast. Our driver was Paolo and we couldn't have had more enjoyable tours. Paolo spoke English well, was very personable, and a safe driver. The Mercedes van was spotless with clean windows :) We had Lucia as our guide in Pompeii and Herculaneum and she was wonderful. She was easy to understand and had a great knowledge of both sites. We were so happy with the service provided by this company and we highly recommend them.

One word -Amazing. If you're looking to do, see and enjoy a host of places that would normally take a week, choose these guys. I found them on a search via Viator but those tours didn’t meet our needs. Francesco designed a custom trip for us for pickup from Rome and tour to Pompei, sorrento and positano. As a group of 9, ranging from 9 year to 75 years olds, I can honestly say that this is the only experience that is top of mind for everyone in our group across age groups - no small feat given we don't agree about anything else! The cars are very well maintained and both Rosario Vincenzo our drivers cum guides were local lads with the best recommendations. They were full of interesting stories and anecdotes, making you feel safe (or at least accepting) amidst Italian mountain driving. Great cars, great pilots, great tour guides = one memorable day. I recommend them without hesitation.

We were a group of 9 - ranging from pre teens to seniors and all of us REALLY enjoyed this trip. We had two vans booked - Rosario and Vincenzo arrived at our apartment for an early pickup. The vans were clean and very comfortable. Rosario and Vincenzo flipped the order of our visits, starting with Positano and keeping Pompeii for the last which was a great shout as we missed a lot of traffic jam going towards the beach in the late morning and had the Pompeii site practically to ourselves in the late afternoon. The drive was beautiful - it is a long day but definitely worth doing this trip if you are short on time. Next time we will be heading straight to Positano! Overall, a great trip for everyone in the group. I highly recommend D&D travelling. A big shout for our driver Vincenzo, who was amazing, absolutely hilarious and so knowledgeable. He ensured our trip was fun and comfortable.
