We had an amazing private tour of Bayeux with Marie! She kindly met us at our hotel and led us on a fascinating historical tour of Bayeux. It was great to get some context about the beautiful historic buildings and we were also able to see the inside of the Notre-Dame de Bayeux. Marie was full of knowledge! We weren’t able to make the timing of the group tour so opted for an afternoon private tour and the price was very reasonable for a 2 hour experience. Would not hesitate to book again. Do it, do it, do it!

My father, 20-something son, and I went on the Bayeux history walking tour with "Green Hat Lady" Marie-Noëlle as our guide. We were in Bayeux the day prior to going on a full day D-Day tour and took advantage of an early train from Paris in order to meet up for the tour at 3 p.m. It was well worth it. Bayeux has a rich history, spanning more than 1000 years and involving so many familiar names from history -- French, English, and Viking. It was fascinating, we learned and saw many things we definitely would not have on our own. I highly recommend this tour -- and you will want to make a reservation well in advance to be sure you can be on it.

Unique organization offering a guided walking tour of the historic district of Bayeux in French. Marie-Noëlle is a knowledgeable, professional guide who loves her city and shares its most beautiful spots, with a wealth of historical details. We spent two delightful hours with her, and since our tour was private, she did not hesitate to change her itinerary to take us to the cathedral and show us the splendor of this building. We highly recommend her.
