Fantastic tour! Jean Dilasser was very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to explain if we did not understand.

Can't recommend Overlord highly enough. Steve was a great tour guide,giving not only pertinent information but building on it to complete the full immersion experience into the invasion. Meaningful experience, grateful for the opportunity to see this event unfold via small details that created a greater understanding of what happened preceding the invasion as well as on D-Day. We were a small inquisitive group and felt fortunate to have Steve readily answer our questions and to be willing to make small diversions in conversation to accommodate our interests. Well done.

This tour was incredible. I would HIGHLY recommend it. The entire tour was very moving and incredibly informative. Our guide, Stephen, was exceptional. He knew so much history, was professional and insightful. If you are in France you should definitely take the opportunity to tour this area with this company.

Great tour, great tour guide. Only disappointment was point du hoc was on the tour agenda and we did not go there because of construction or something.

We had a wonderful day with Loic. He was a very knowledgeable and empathetic guide. He answered many questions and shared stories about soldiers and events at each of our stops. He was clear in the amount of time he gave us to explore and looked after everyone in the group. I would recommend taking an Overlord Tour.

On Saturday, September 26th my wife and I with two couples, our friends used Overlord Tours for tour of Normandy. Our tour guide, Oliver, picked us up at 8:30AM and returned us to our hotel at 6:00PM. Oliver was extremely knowledgeable on the European theatre and had a great sense of humor. He never rushed us and we had ample time to see everything. Oliver recommended our lunch restaurant and it was excellent. Oliver went above and beyond for us and he even got our dinner reservations that evening. We are very thankful Oliver was our guide and we give him 5 stars!

We were spending several days in Bayeux and booked three tours with Overlord. Our guides were Thierry for Utah/Omaha, Loic for Sword/Juno/Gold, and Louis for Mont St. Michel. All three tours were outstanding and all three guides were the reason why. Overlord is just a top-notch organization that appears to hire qualified, informed, knowledgeable, sensitive guides with great senses of humor. Very happy we found them and booked our tours with them.

This was our second tour with Overlord Tours, and somehow they managed to exceed our already high expectations. Our guide, Thierry, possessed an incredible depth of knowledge about D-Day, World War II, and the Normandy campaign. His ability to bring the history to life made the experience both educational and deeply moving. What impressed us most was his mastery of the subject matter. A retired U.S. Army Colonel in our group asked several highly technical and detailed questions throughout the day, and Thierry answered each one with precision, confidence, and remarkable insight. It was clear that his expertise goes far beyond a memorized script. The tour was exceptionally well organized, engaging, and informative from start to finish. If you are visiting Normandy and want to truly understand the events of D-Day and the sacrifices made there, I cannot recommend Overlord Tours highly enough. Without a doubt, they are the best tour operator in Normandy, and Thierry is an outstanding guide who made an already unforgettable experience even more memorable.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Had a private tour of Omaha and Utah Beaches, and St Mere Elise. Our guide, Guilliaume was knowledgeable about every aspect of WWII, The Normandy Invasion, and the surrounding area. As a native of the area, his stories of the towns and villages were most interesting. He also shared personal stories about his family’s remembrances of The Invasion and The War, which were vivid in detail and emotion. It was certainly the best guided tour we have ever been on and as such carries our highest recommendation.
