We actually did the bear watching and wildlife tour rather than whale watching. Absolutely excellent tour. We saw numerous bears with cubs and lots of other wildlife. Caleb our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. He gave a lot of information and answered all questions. There were only 12 seats on the boat so not too many people. The seats were very comfortable next to large clean windows and you could move around inside and out to get the best views. Caleb brought the boat as close as was safe to the animals. Good quality binoculars were provided at every seat. There was a WC if needed. Highly recommend this company and this tour.

Great tour, very nice guide, also the owner. He sails with a half-covered boat, which sticks out a bit above the water, so you can see a lot. Maximum 12 people. We saw 3 walruses, but also a bear, seals, sea lions, a sea otter and sea eagles. Plenty of time to calmly view the animals (from a distance of course) and to ask questions, he knows a lot about it.

Cameron was amazing. We did the bear watching tour and saw over 20 bears plus seals, otters, etc. Cameron is very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife and is great to have as a tour guide. He was so interesting that I think he should write a book on his life. : ) The views of the region on this tour was incredible.

I booked the bear watching tour with the company and the tour was excellent! The owner/operator Caleb gave really great intro/instructions before leaving the harbour and during the tour stopped and pointed out various wildlife we saw, including bald eagles, a sea otter and some harbour seals. Caleb also provided really great information about the wildlife and the area around Ucluelet. He knew all the spots where the bears usually hung out and was able to get the boat close to the bears and provided lots of time to watch the bears and take pictures before heading to the next spot to look for more bears. He also took photos on his professional camera and offered to share them with the guests after the tour. 10/10 experience.

Very knowledgeable and friendly guide. We saw black bears, sea otters, eagles and a seal. We booked through the website and it was very easy to find. Would definitely recommend. Boat was clean and comfortable. Cameron grew up in the village so knows the area and the sea very well and is very experienced.

We spent a wonderful afternoon of discovery on the water with Cameron Adventures! We saw whales, otters, eagles, and seals. Our guide, Caleb, was generous, attentive, knowledgeable, and respectful of the wildlife. It is a must-do experience!

Excellent trip. Caleb knows the area like back of his hand. Bluefin is a comfortable sea boat both on the plane and when creeping slowly. We saw grey whale, despite Caleb having to search a long way for it (the humpback from earlier in the day had moved on), a black bear, sea otter, sealions and many bald eagles. Plus the area itself with so many islands is beautiful even without the added wildlife bonus! Relaxed but informative, and clearly very experienced. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time on our whale watching tour and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Caleb, our guide, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the wildlife, making the experience both fun and educational. Although we only caught a couple of whale spouts rather than a full sighting, it didn't detract from the trip at all. We were lucky enough to see sea lions, seals, bald eagles, and even a sea otter, all while taking in breathtaking scenery. It was a truly memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

I've done multiple whale watching tours in different countries and at opposite ends of Canada. Cameron Ocean Adventures was simply, the best. Was it the best viewing of whales that I've seen? No. But, that's not the operator's fault. Yes, we followed a whale and the experience was amazing. We saw all kinds of other marine and Wildlife as well. The experience, knowledge, honesty and interaction with our guide was 10 out of 10. His boat was the best I've ever been on and the most comfortable. The reason I mention honest, I brought my entire family including my 88-year-old mother, who needs a knee replacement, suffers from a spinal stenosis and uses a walker but is young at heart. Was supposed to go with the rest of my family but unfortunately the tide was at a record low and she could not make it down the ramp to the boat. And the owner, without hesitation, refunded my payment for mom. When I return to Ucluelet I will be booking with Cameron Marine Adventures, and hopefully mom will be able to come too!
