Really enjoyed experiencing local Brazilian food on our food tour. Lucas was a fun and engaging guide.

What a great way to spend an afternoon in Rio! Berna was an excellent host and incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and kind. We got to try several local dishes, all with unique flavors. It was great to check out a part of the city we hadn’t explored yet and learn more about the neighborhood’s history. Would recommend!

Our guide Lucas was great. He explained every dish in detail and gave a good history of the restaurants we went to. He spoke English well and communication was no problem. The only drawback with the tour is the confusion of the time of meet up. Our voucher said 4pm but our meeting with Lucas was at 1:45 pm. I was confirming it with the operator but there the reply came a day late. Hopefully customer support of the operator can fix this.

Bernardo was the best. Knowledgeable and engaging. Tasted some wonderful food and tried things I wouldn’t have a chance to otherwise. Highly recommend.

Catarina was fantastic!! She was so fun and accommodating and we loved not only the food we got to try but her cultural education as well!! A must do on your trip with Catarina!!!

Catherina was such a fun and engaging guide. The other group attending the tour made it even more enjoyable! The food was delicious and learning where the foods fit into Brazilian culture was interesting. Also, the various restaurants where we sampled food were very close together, so if you don’t want to be marched all over town this is a great tour for you!

Our guide Lucas was incredibly nice, welcoming, and truly passionate about sharing Rio’s culture. He was very informative throughout the tour and also shared many of his own experiences, which made everything feel more personal and meaningful. He took us to four different local restaurants, each offering delicious and authentic Rio dishes. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and he explained the history and flavors behind what we were trying. It was a perfect mix of great food, local insight, and genuine connection. Highly recommended!
